“ If you refuse to listen to the Lord your God and to obey the commands and decrees he has given you, all these curses will pursue and overtake you until you are destroyed.

這一切咒詛必臨到你，必追趕你，把你趕上，直到你消滅，因為你不聽永恆主你的上帝的聲音，而遵守他的誡命律例、就是他所吩咐你的。

凡此諸詛、必追襲爾、臨及爾、俾爾滅亡、因爾不聽爾上帝耶和華所諭之言、守其誡命典章、

緣爾不聽爾上帝耶和華命、不守其所諭禮儀禁令、故此災禍襲於爾後、恆臨爾上、至於滅亡。

此諸災禍必追迫爾、追而及爾、臨於爾身、致爾滅亡、皆因爾不聽主爾天主之言、不守其所諭爾之誡命律例、

All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the Lord your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you.

The Lord your God will send all these curses on you. They will follow you everywhere. They’ll catch up with you. You will be under the Lord’ s curse until you are destroyed. That’s because you didn’t obey him. You didn’t keep the commands and rules he gave you.

“ All these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you till you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that he commanded you.

“ All these curses will come, pursue, and overtake you until you are destroyed, since you did not obey the LORD your God and keep the commands and statutes he gave you.

“ So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.

“ Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.

And all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

“ All these curses will come, pursue, and overtake you until you are destroyed, since you did not obey the Lord your God and keep the commands and statutes He gave you.

Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

All these curses will come on you, and will pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you didn’t listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you.

“ But if you refuse to listen to the Lord your God and do not obey all the commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you:

But if you turn away and refuse to listen, you will be devoured by the sword of your enemies. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

When I led your ancestors out of Egypt, it was not burnt offerings and sacrifices I wanted from them.This is what I told them:‘ Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!’“ But my people would not listen to me. They kept doing whatever they wanted, following the stubborn desires of their evil hearts. They went backward instead of forward.From the day your ancestors left Egypt until now, I have continued to send my servants, the prophets— day in and day out.

You rebuke the arrogant; those who wander from your commands are cursed.

Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed.

My servants will sing for joy, but you will cry in sorrow and despair.Your name will be a curse word among my people, for the Sovereign Lord will destroy you and will call his true servants by another name.

then I will give full vent to my hostility. I myself will punish you seven times over for your sins.

Trouble chases sinners, while blessings reward the righteous.

The Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel. He punished them by handing them over to their attackers until he had banished Israel from his presence.

All who pass by jeer at you. They scoff and insult beautiful Jerusalem, saying,“ Is this the city called‘ Most Beautiful in All the World’ and‘ Joy of All the Earth’?”All your enemies mock you. They scoff and snarl and say,“ We have destroyed her at last! We have long waited for this day, and it is finally here!”But it is the Lord who did just as he planned. He has fulfilled the promises of disaster he made long ago. He has destroyed Jerusalem without mercy. He has caused her enemies to gloat over her and has given them power over her.

“ Now this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How terrible it will be when all four of these dreadful punishments fall upon Jerusalem— war, famine, wild animals, and disease— destroying all her people and animals.

You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today.But you will be cursed if you reject the commands of the Lord your God and turn away from him and worship gods you have not known before.

There is war outside the city and disease and famine within. Those outside the city walls will be killed by enemy swords. Those inside the city will die of famine and disease.

The Lord will never pardon such people. Instead his anger and jealousy will burn against them. All the curses written in this book will come down on them, and the Lord will erase their names from under heaven.The Lord will separate them from all the tribes of Israel, to pour out on them all the curses of the covenant recorded in this Book of Instruction.

I will make them an object of horror and a symbol of evil to every nation on earth. They will be disgraced and mocked, taunted and cursed, wherever I scatter them.And I will send war, famine, and disease until they have vanished from the land of Israel, which I gave to them and their ancestors.”
