Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day, powerless to lift a hand.

Your children will be given to another nation. Day after day you will watch for them to come back. But you will only wear out your eyes. You won’t be able to help your children.

Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, while your eyes look on and fail with longing for them all day long, but you shall be helpless.

你生兒養女，卻不算是你的，因為必被擄去。

並將猶大人和耶路撒冷人賣給希臘人，使他們遠離自己的境界。

所以我們的祖宗倒在刀下，我們的妻子兒女也被擄掠。

我因盼望你的應許眼睛失明，說：你何時安慰我？

我因盼望你的救恩和你公義的話眼睛失明。

有的說：「我們和兒女人口眾多，要去得糧食度命」；有的說：「我們典了田地、葡萄園、房屋，要得糧食充飢」；有的說：「我們已經指着田地、葡萄園，借了錢給王納稅。我們的身體與我們弟兄的身體一樣；我們的兒女與他們的兒女一般。現在我們將要使兒女作人的僕婢，我們的女兒已有為婢的；我們並無力拯救，因為我們的田地、葡萄園已經歸了別人。」

控告他的朋友、以朋友為可搶奪的，連他兒女的眼睛也要失明。

但惡人的眼目必要失明。他們無路可逃；他們的指望就是氣絕。

我眼中流淚，以致失明；我的心腸擾亂，肝膽塗地，都因我眾民遭毀滅，又因孩童和吃奶的在城內街上發昏。

我因呼求困乏，喉嚨發乾；我因等候神，眼睛失明。

錫安的民哪，你要疼痛劬勞，彷彿產難的婦人；因為你必從城裏出來，住在田野，到巴比倫去。在那裏要蒙解救；在那裏耶和華必救贖你脫離仇敵的手。

所以我要把你們擄到大馬士革以外。」這是耶和華－名為萬軍之神說的。

你身所生的，地所產的，以及牛犢、羊羔，都必受咒詛。

我在境內各城門口，用簸箕簸了我的百姓，使他們喪掉兒女。我毀滅他們，他們仍不轉離所行的道。他們的寡婦在我面前比海沙更多；我使滅命的午間來，攻擊少年人的母親，使痛苦驚嚇忽然臨到她身上。生過七子的婦人力衰氣絕；尚在白晝，日頭忽落；她抱愧蒙羞。其餘的人，我必在他們敵人跟前，交與刀劍。這是耶和華說的。

「人子啊，我除掉他們所倚靠、所歡喜的榮耀，並眼中所喜愛、心裏所重看的兒女。

我像燕子呢喃，像白鶴鳴叫，又像鴿子哀鳴；我因仰觀，眼睛困倦。耶和華啊，我受欺壓，求你為我作保。

摩押啊，你有禍了！基抹的民哪，你們滅亡了！基抹的男子逃奔，女子被擄，交付亞摩利的王西宏。

這些事我們心裏發昏，我們的眼睛昏花。

「你在這地方不可娶妻，生兒養女。因為論到在這地方所生的兒女，又論到在這國中生養他們的父母，耶和華如此說：他們必死得甚苦，無人哀哭，必不得葬埋，必在地上像糞土，必被刀劍和饑荒滅絕；他們的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸作食物。」

我們仰望人來幫助，以致眼目失明，還是枉然；我們所盼望的，竟盼望一個不能救人的國！

在那些國中，你必不得安逸，也不得落腳之地；耶和華卻使你在那裏心中跳動，眼目失明，精神消耗。
