When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

人恩待贫弱者，就是借予耶和华；耶和华将照着他所行的偿还给他。

有人慷慨好施，反增添更多；有人该给不给，却导致缺乏。慷慨祝福的，必得丰裕；使人得润泽的，自己也蒙恩泽。

把你的粮食分给饥饿的人，把流浪的困苦人接到家中，见到赤身的人就给他衣服穿，不回避有需要的骨肉之亲。如果你这样做，你的光就必喷薄而出，如同黎明的光；你也必速速康复；你的公义必行在你前面，耶和华的荣耀必作你的后盾；那时你呼求，耶和华必回应；你呼救，他必说：‘我在这里。’如果你除去你当中的轭，除去对人的指摘和恶毒的言谈；如果你为饥饿的人献上身心，使困苦的人身心满足；那么，你的光就必在黑暗中升起，你的幽暗必明如正午；耶和华必一直引导你，在干旱之地使你身心满足，又使你的骨头强壮；你必像灌溉充足的园子，又像水流不绝的泉源。

相反，你预备宴席的时候，要邀请那些贫穷的、残疾的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，这样你就蒙福了，因为他们没有可回报你的，而在义人复活的时候，你将得到回报。”

眷顾贫弱者的，是蒙福的！在灾祸的日子里，耶和华必搭救他。耶和华要保守他，使他存活；他在这地上被称为蒙福的人。耶和华啊，求你不要照着他仇敌的心愿把他交出去！他在病床上，耶和华会扶持他；耶和华啊，他伤病时，你使他在病榻上痊愈。

高贵人却筹谋高贵的事，并坚立在高贵的事上。

他施舍、给予贫穷人，他的公义将存留到永远，他的角将在荣耀中被高举。

又有这话：播撒吝啬的人，也收获吝啬；播撒祝福的人，也收获祝福。每个人要照着心里预先定好的，不要为难，也不要勉强，因为神喜爱那乐意给与的人。神能使一切的恩典丰丰富富地临到你们，使你们总是在一切事上都能知足，在一切美善的工作上充实满溢。

但如果有人拥有世界的财产，看见自己的弟兄有需要，却封闭情感，那么，属神的爱怎么能住在他里面呢？孩子们哪，让我们不在语言或口头上相爱，而在行为和真理中相爱，从这一点我们就会知道我们属于真理。

你们要给与，就会被赐予，而且用十足的量器，连摇带按、满满当当地倒在你们怀里，因为，你们用什么量器来衡量，也会同样地被衡量。”

藐视自己邻人的，是有罪的；恩待卑微人的，是蒙福的！

不过你们要爱你们的敌人，要善待人；借出去，不指望任何偿还。这样，你们的报偿就大了，而且你们将成为至高者的儿女，因为他以仁慈待那些忘恩负义和邪恶的人。

你们还要从禾捆中有意为她抽出一些麦穗，留给她捡拾，不可斥责她。”
