Return their cloak by sunset so that your neighbor may sleep in it. Then they will thank you, and it will be regarded as a righteous act in the sight of the Lord your God.

Return it before the sun goes down. They need it to sleep in and will thank you for returning it. The Lord your God will see it and know that you have done the right thing.

You shall restore to him the pledge as the sun sets, that he may sleep in his cloak and bless you. And it shall be righteousness for you before the Lord your God.

你们发怒却不可继续犯罪，不可生气到日落，

如果你这样做，你的光就必喷薄而出，如同黎明的光；你也必速速康复；你的公义必行在你前面，耶和华的荣耀必作你的后盾；

愿主施怜悯给奥尼斯弗罗的家人，因为他多次使我神清气爽，也没有以我的锁链为耻；相反，他一到罗马，就殷切地寻找我，并且找到了。愿主使他在那日子得到主的怜悯！至于他在以弗所的一切服事工作，你知道得更清楚。

他们藉着这次服事的凭证，因你们顺服了那为基督福音所做的告白，也因你们给他们和众人的慷慨分享，他们就会荣耀神；并且他们因着神赐给你们这无限的恩典，就切切地想念你们，为你们祈祷。

那时非尼哈站出来干预，瘟疫才被止住。这就算为他的义，世世代代，直到永远。

在父神看来，纯洁而没有玷污的虔诚是这样的：照顾患难中的孤儿寡妇，并且保守自己不受世界的玷污。

亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华就以此算为他的义。

要知道，那不施怜悯的人，要受毫无怜悯的审判；怜悯胜过审判。我的弟兄们，如果有人说自己有信仰，但却没有行为，这有什么好处呢？难道这种信仰能救他吗？如果有弟兄或姐妹衣不蔽体，又缺乏日用的食物，而你们当中有人对他们说：“平平安安地去吧！愿你们穿得暖、吃得饱！”，却不给他们身体所需要的，这有什么好处呢？信仰也是这样：如果没有行为，这信仰就是死的。不过有人会说：“你有信仰；我有行为。”请给我看看你没有行为的信仰，我也本于自己的行为给你看看我的信仰。你相信神只有一位，你就做得很好！连鬼魔也相信，并且恐惧战兢。唉，你这虚空的人哪！你想知道没有行为的信仰是无用的吗？我们的先祖亚伯拉罕把他的儿子以撒献在祭坛上，难道不是本于行为被称为义吗？你看，信仰和他的行为相辅相成，而且信仰是本于行为得以完全的。这就应验了经上所说的：“亚伯拉罕信神，这就被算为他的义。”他又被称为“神的朋友”。
