Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest.

Don’t charge your own people any interest. Don’t charge them when they borrow money, food or anything else.

“ You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother, interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent for interest.

“ Do not charge interest on the loans you make to a fellow Israelite, whether you loan money, or food, or anything else.

“ Do not charge your brother interest on silver, food, or anything that can earn interest.

“ You shall not charge interest to your brother— interest on money or food or anything that is lent out at interest.

Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother; interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that is lent upon interest.

Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

You must not charge interest on a loan to your fellow Israelite, whether on money, food, or anything else that has been loaned with interest.

“ If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, you are not to act as a creditor to him; you shall not charge him interest.

He does not lend his money at interest, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. One who does these things will never be shaken.

and if a man does not oppress anyone, but restores to the debtor his pledge, does not commit robbery, but gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing,and if he does not lend money at interest or take interest, if he keeps his hand from injustice and executes true justice between one person and another,

Among you they have taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest, you have injured your neighbors by oppression, and you have forgotten Me,” declares the Lord God.

Yet behold, we are forcing our sons and our daughters to be slaves, and some of our daughters are forced into bondage already, and we are helpless because our fields and vineyards belong to others.”Then I was very angry when I heard their outcry and these words.So I thought it over and contended with the nobles and the leading people, and said to them,“ You are lending at interest, each to his brother!” Therefore, I held a great assembly against them.

nor oppressed anyone, nor retained a pledge, nor committed robbery; instead, he gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing,he keeps his hand from the poor, does not take any kind of interest on loans, but executes My ordinances, and walks in My statutes; he will not die for his father’s guilt, he will certainly live.As for his father, because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother, and did what was not good among his people, behold, he will die for his guilt.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same amount.But love your enemies and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil people.

lends money at interest and takes interest; will he live? He will not live! He has committed all these abominations, he shall certainly be put to death; his blood will be on himself.
