If you see your fellow Israelite’s donkey or ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help the owner get it to its feet.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s donkey or ox that has fallen down on the road. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Help the owner get it up on its feet again.

You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way and ignore them. You shall help him to lift them up again.

弟兄們，縱使有人一時衝動被某種過犯所勝，你們屬靈的人也要以柔和的心靈把這樣的人改正過來。你也要察看自己，免得你也被試誘。彼此的重擔、要互助挑擔，這樣就行盡基督的律法了。

那人想要自顯為對，就對耶穌說：『誰是我的鄰舍呢？』耶穌便接着說：『有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥，碰見強盜：他們剝去他的衣裳，加以擊傷走了，丟下他半死的。恰巧有一個祭司在那條路上下去；看見了他，就從對面過去了。有一個利未人也這樣；他到那地方，看見、也從對面過去了。但是有一個撒瑪利亞人、行路來到他那裏，看見就動了憐憫的心，上前倒油和酒，把他的傷處包好，扶他騎上自己的牲口，帶他到客店裏去受照顧。第二天拿出兩個「日工錢」幣來，給店主說：「請照顧他；所有加用的，我回來時就還給你」。這三人中，你以為哪一個成了那掉在強盜手中者的鄰舍呢？』他說：『那憐恤他的。』耶穌對他說：『去吧，你、也這樣行。』

我們有能力的人呢、應該擔代沒有能力之人的脆弱顧忌，不應該逕求自己所喜歡的。

所以你們要把衰弱下垂的手舉起來，把癱瘓發抖的膝蓋伸直；使你們的腳行直的路線，使瘸了的不全脫了骱、倒重復矯健。

論到我嘛、我頂喜歡地為你們開費，以至於費盡了我自己。是不是我越發愛你們，就該越發少得你們的愛呢？

弟兄們，我們勸你們、對游手好閒的人要勸戒，對灰心的人要撫慰，對軟弱的人要扶持，對眾人要恆忍。

但是我告訴你們，要愛你們的仇敵，要為那逼迫你們的禱告。

『若遇見你仇敵的牛或驢走迷了路，你總要牽回來給他。若看見恨你的人的驢伏在重馱之下，你休要放棄牠；總要和驢主一同幫助牠。
