主爾之天主既滅列國、以其地賜爾、爾據而有之、居於其邑及其室、

When the Lord your God has destroyed the nations whose land he is giving you, and when you have driven them out and settled in their towns and houses,

The Lord your God will destroy the nations whose land he is giving you. You will drive them out. And you will make your homes in their towns and their houses.

“ When the Lord your God cuts off the nations whose land the Lord your God is giving you, and you dispossess them and dwell in their cities and in their houses,

“ When the Lord your God destroys the nations whose land he is giving you, you will take over their land and settle in their towns and homes.

“ When the LORD your God annihilates the nations whose land he is giving you, so that you drive them out and live in their cities and houses,

“ When the Lord your God annihilates the nations whose land He is giving you, so that you drive them out and live in their cities and houses,

The Lord your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and settled in their land, (niv)

When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you— a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, (niv)

These are the decrees and laws you must be careful to follow in the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has given you to possess— as long as you live in the land. (niv)

When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations— the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you—and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. (niv)

When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you and have taken possession of it and settled in it, and you say,“ Let us set a king over us like all the nations around us,” (niv)
