The Levitical priests— indeed, the whole tribe of Levi— are to have no allotment or inheritance with Israel. They shall live on the food offerings presented to the Lord, for that is their inheritance.

The priests, who are Levites, won’t receive any part of the land of Israel. That also applies to the whole tribe of Levi. They will eat the food offerings presented to the Lord. That will be their share.

“ The Levitical priests, all the tribe of Levi, shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They shall eat the Lord’s food offerings as their inheritance.

“ Remember that the Levitical priests— that is, the whole of the tribe of Levi— will receive no allotment of land among the other tribes in Israel. Instead, the priests and Levites will eat from the special gifts given to the Lord, for that is their share.

“ The Levitical priests, the whole tribe of Levi, will have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They will eat the LORD’s food offerings; that is their inheritance.

“ The Levitical priests, the whole tribe of Levi, shall not have a portion or inheritance with Israel; they shall eat the Lord’s offerings by fire and His property.

耶和華對亞倫說：“我已經把保留歸我的舉祭，就是以色列人一切分別為聖的物，都賜給你和你的子孫，作為永遠應得的分。以色列人所獻一切不經過火、至聖的供物，就是一切素祭、一切贖罪祭和一切贖愆祭，都要作至聖的物，歸給你和你的子孫。

你要自己謹慎，你在你那地上的日子，永不可丟棄利未人。

耶和華對亞倫說：“你在以色列人的地不可有產業，在他們中間也不可有分；在以色列人中間，我就是你的分，是你的產業。

難道你們不知道，在聖殿供職的，就吃殿中的供物；侍候祭壇的，就分領壇上的祭物嗎？主也曾這樣吩咐，叫傳福音的人靠福音為生。

只有利未支派，摩西沒有把產業給他們；他們的產業就是獻給耶和華以色列的神的火祭，正如耶和華對他們所說的。

務要牧養在你們中間的神的羊群，按著神的旨意看顧他們。不是出於勉強，而是出於甘心；不是因為貪財，而是出於熱誠；也不是要轄制託付你們的羊群，而是作他們的榜樣。到了牧長顯現的時候，你們必定得著那永不衰殘的榮耀冠冕。

利未人中，從一個月以上被數點的所有男丁，共有二萬三千人。在以色列人中沒有數點他們，因為在以色列人中，沒有把產業分給他們。

可是利未支派，摩西卻沒有把產業分給他們，因為耶和華以色列的神就是他們的產業，正如耶和華對他們所說的。

利未人在你們中間沒有業分，因為耶和華祭司的職分就是他們的產業。迦得支派、流本支派和瑪拿西半個支派，已經在約旦河東得了產業，就是耶和華的僕人摩西分給他們的。”
