如爾邑中有訟事、為流血、為爭競、為鬥毆、爾所難鞫者、則當詣爾上帝耶和華所選之處、

“你城中若起了争讼的事，或因流血，或因争竞，或因殴打，是你难断的案件，你就当起来，往耶和华你神所选择的地方

“你城中若有难以判断的案件，涉及流血，诉讼，或殴打等争讼的事，你就要起来，上到那里，耶和华—你上帝所选择的地方，

“你城中若有难以判断的案件，涉及流血，诉讼，或殴打等争讼的事，你就要起来，上到那里，耶和华—你神所选择的地方，

“如果案件复杂，难以决断，如谋杀、诉讼、人身伤害等，就要把案件带到你们的上帝耶和华选定的地方，

“在你的城里如果有什么争讼的事：或是流血，或是诉讼，或是殴打，是你很难处决的案件，你就要起来，上到耶和华你的神选择的地方，

『在你城內若有案件在流血與流血之間、辯訴與辯訴之間、毆打與毆打之間、爭訟的點太離奇、不是你所能判斷的，那麼你就要起來，上永恆主你的上帝所要選擇的地方，

如爾邑中有詞訟、或因流血、或因爭競、或因鬥傷、爾所難鞫者、則當起、往主爾天主所選之處、

If cases come before your courts that are too difficult for you to judge— whether bloodshed, lawsuits or assaults— take them to the place the Lord your God will choose.

People will bring their cases to your courts. But some cases will be too hard for you to judge. They might be about murders, attacks or other crimes. Then take those hard cases to the place the Lord your God will choose.

“ If any case arises requiring decision between one kind of homicide and another, one kind of legal right and another, or one kind of assault and another, any case within your towns that is too difficult for you, then you shall arise and go up to the place that the Lord your God will choose.

“ Suppose a case arises in a local court that is too hard for you to decide— for instance, whether someone is guilty of murder or only of manslaughter, or a difficult lawsuit, or a case involving different kinds of assault. Take such legal cases to the place the Lord your God will choose,

“ If a case is too difficult for you— concerning bloodshed, lawsuits, or assaults— cases disputed at your city gates, then go up to the place the LORD your God chooses.

“ If a case is too difficult for you to decide, between one kind of homicide or another, between one kind of lawsuit or another, and between one kind of assault or another, that are cases of dispute in your courts, then you shall arise and go up to the place which the Lord your God chooses.

“ If a matter arises which is too hard for you to judge, between degrees of guilt for bloodshed, between one judgment or another, or between one punishment or another, matters of controversy within your gates, then you shall arise and go up to the place which the Lord your God chooses.

If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates; then shalt thou arise, and get thee up unto the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose;

“ If a case is too difficult for you— concerning bloodshed, lawsuits, or assaults— cases disputed at your gates, you must go up to the place the Lord your God chooses.

If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke,[ being] matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;

If a matter is too difficult for you to judge– bloodshed, legal claim, or assault– matters of controversy in your villages– you must leave there and go up to the place the LORD your God chooses.

爾上帝耶和華於爾支派中、所選寄名之處、爾當詣而求之、

萬軍之耶和華云、問法律於祭司曰、

牛觸男女致死、必以石擊斃之、勿食其肉、牛主無罪、

時、有二妓至、立於王前、其一曰、我主歟、我與此婦同居一室、相偕在室、我產一子、越至三日、彼亦產子、惟我二人同處、此外無人與居、彼於夜間、壓死其子、中夜彼起、乘婢尚寢、取我子於我側、抱於其懷、而置死子於我懷、昧爽、我起哺子、見子已死、迨旦察之、見其非我所產、彼婦曰、不然、生者我子、死者爾子、曰、不然、死者爾子、生者我子、二人如是訴於王前、王曰、此云生者我子、死者爾子、彼云不然、死者爾子、生者我子、王曰、為我取刃、則取刃至王前、王曰、剖生子為二、各給其半、生子之母心痛其子、告王曰、我主歟、願以生子給之、決不可殺、彼婦曰、勿歸我、勿歸爾、剖之可也、王曰、彼乃生子之母、以子予之、決不可殺、以色列眾聞王所判、知其具有上帝之智慧以行鞫、遂咸寅畏焉、

以杖擊僕婢、而斃杖下者、必受刑、

訟者二人當就耶和華、立於當時之祭司士師前、

約沙法亦立利未人與祭司、及以色列族長於耶路撒冷、為耶和華行鞫聽訟、居於耶路撒冷、王命之曰、爾當寅畏耶和華、專心誠實行此、爾之昆弟居於各邑、如有訟事就爾、或為流血、或犯法度誡命、典章律例、當訓戒之、免其獲罪於耶和華、致耶和華之怒及爾、與爾昆弟、爾依此而行、則無罪矣、

必簡邑為逃城、使誤殺人者可遁於彼、

誤殺人者遁於彼而得生、有定例焉、素無仇怨、而誤殺人、

故殺人者、復仇者必殺之、遇即殺之、若蓄怨而仆人、或潛伏而以物擲人至死、或因憾而手擊人至死、是為故殺、故殺人者殺毋赦、復仇者遇即殺之、如無釁隙、而猝然刺人、或非潛伏、而以物擲人、或未之見、而以石擲人至死、本非結讎、亦非加害、則會眾必於殺人復仇者之間、循例而剖析、救誤殺人者、脫於復仇者之手、使返逃城以居、待受聖膏之祭司長終焉、如誤殺人者出逃城之境、復仇者在邑外遇而殺之、則無流血之罪、緣彼當居逃城、待祭司長死、祭司長既死、殺人者返其故土可也、於爾所居之地、此為律例、歷世弗替、故殺人者、有人為證、必殺毋赦、但證人惟一則不可、故殺人者、不得以金贖其命、必殺毋赦、遁於逃城者、祭司長未死之先、不可取其贖金、使歸故土、如是、則不污爾所居之地、蓋流人血、乃污其地、非流殺人者之血、則無以潔之、我耶和華居以色列族中、勿污爾土、我所處者、

如人相鬥、傷妊婦墮胎、而無他害、則當罰金、依其夫所定、折中於士師、

祭司之脣、宜存智識、人當求法律於其口、以其為萬軍耶和華之使也、

隨時鞫民、難事則以呈、細故則自鞫、

若以鐵器擊人至死、是為故殺、故殺人者殺毋赦、

諸支派、耶和華之支派往彼、乃以色列之定例、欲稱頌耶和華名兮、在彼設鞫位、即大衛室之位兮、

擊人死者、殺無赦、若非謀殺、乃上帝付於其手、我必為之定可避之區、若擅攻其鄰、以詭計殺之、雖逃於我壇、亦執而殺之、○

遇盜穿窬、擊斃之、不抵罪、

免無辜之血、流於爾上帝耶和華所賜為業之地、流血之罪歸爾、如人憾其鄰里、伏而擊之致死、逃於斯邑之一、

鞫時、毋行偏視、無論貴賤、必聽其詞、不可畏人、蓋鞫事屬上帝也、事遇難斷、則呈我聽之、
