此豁免年之例如斯、凡貸金於鄰與兄弟、兄弟或作同國之人下同此年必豁免、毋相逼索債、因是年稱為主之豁免年、

This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed.

Have you made a loan to one of your own people? Then forgive what is owed to you. You can’t require that person to pay you back. The Lord’ s time to forgive what is owed has been announced.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans they have made to their fellow Israelites. They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives, for the Lord’s time of release has arrived.

This is how to cancel debt: Every creditor is to cancel what he has lent his neighbor. He is not to collect anything from his neighbor or brother, because the LORD’s release of debts has been proclaimed.

And this is the regulation for the release of debts: every creditor is to forgive what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not require it of his neighbor and his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD’s release.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he hath lent unto his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Jehovah’s release hath been proclaimed.

你們若借給人，希望從他收回，有甚麼可感謝的呢？就是罪人也借給罪人，再如數收回。你們倒要愛仇敵，要善待他們，並要借給人不指望償還，你們的賞賜就很多了，你們必作至高者的兒子，因為他恩待那忘恩的和作惡的。你們要仁慈，像你們的父是仁慈的。」「你們不要評斷別人，就不被審判；你們不要定人的罪，就不被定罪；你們要饒恕人，就必蒙饒恕。你們要給人，就必有給你們的，並且用十足的升斗，連搖帶按，上尖下流地倒在你們懷裏；因為你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們。」

因為他們無力償還，債主就開恩赦免了他們兩個人的債。那麼，這兩個人哪一個更愛他呢？」

因為對那不憐憫人的，他們要受沒有憐憫的審判；憐憫勝過審判。

你們這些踐踏貧窮人、使這地困苦人衰敗的，當聽這話！你們說：「初一幾時過去，我們好賣糧；安息日幾時過去，我們好擺開穀物；我們要把伊法變小，把舍客勒變大，以詭詐的天平欺哄人，用銀子買貧寒人，以一雙鞋換貧窮人，把壞的穀物賣給人。」

我心裏作了決定，就斥責貴族和官長，對他們說：「你們各人借錢給弟兄，竟然索取利息！」於是我召開大會攻擊他們。我對他們說：「我們已盡力贖回我們的弟兄，就是賣到列國的猶太人；你們還要賣弟兄，讓我們去買回來嗎？」他們就靜默不語，無話可答。我又說：「你們做的這事不對！你們行事不是應該敬畏我們的神，免得列國我們的仇敵毀謗我們嗎？我和我的弟兄僕人也要把銀錢糧食借給百姓，大家都當免除利息。就在今日，你們要把他們的田地、葡萄園、橄欖園、房屋，以及向他們所取銀錢的利息、糧食、新酒和新油都歸還他們。」

因為他沒有甚麼償還之物，主人下令把他和他妻子兒女，以及一切所有的都賣了來償還。那僕人就俯伏向他叩頭，說：『寬容我吧，我都會還你的。』那僕人的主人就動了慈心，把他釋放了，並且免了他的債。那僕人出來，遇見一個欠他一百個銀幣的同伴，就揪着他，扼住他的喉嚨，說：『把你所欠的還我！』他的同伴就俯伏央求他，說：『寬容我吧，我會還你的。』他不肯，卻把他下在監裏，直到他還了所欠的債。同伴們看見他所做的事就很悲憤，把這一切的事都告訴了主人。於是主人叫了他來，對他說：『你這惡奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了；你不應該憐憫你的同伴，像我憐憫你嗎？』主人就大怒，把他交給司刑的，直到他還清了所欠的債。你們各人若不從心裏饒恕你的弟兄，我天父也要這樣待你們。」

「我們禁食，你為何不看呢？我們刻苦己心，你為何不理會呢？」看哪，你們禁食的時候仍追求私利，剝削為你們做苦工的人。

你們若饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們；你們若不饒恕人，你們的天父也必不饒恕你們的過犯。」

免我們的債，如同我們免了人的債。
