於爾四境不無貧者、故我命汝、大啟爾手、賙濟同儕。

There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.

There will always be poor people in the land. So I’m commanding you to give freely to those who are poor and needy in your land. Open your hands to them.

For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you,‘ You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.

For there will never cease to be poor people in the land; that is why I am commanding you,‘ Open your hand willingly to your poor and needy brother in your land.’

For the poor will not cease to exist in the land; therefore I am commanding you, saying,‘ You shall fully open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’

蓋貧者常偕爾、我不常偕爾、

因貧者常偕爾、隨時爾可善待之、惟我不常偕爾、

乃必開展爾手、循其所乏者以貸之、

主為我舍命、則其愛由此可知也、我儕亦當為兄弟舍命、人若有世之貲財、見兄弟窮乏而不矜恤施與、焉得謂之存愛天主之心乎、焉得謂之存愛天主之心乎原文作則天主之愛豈存於其內乎○小子乎、我儕相愛、勿以言以舌、乃以行以實、

貧富雜處、雜處原文作相遇悉為主所造、

信者之眾、一心一志、無人謂我之貲屬我、所有悉為公用、使徒以能力證主耶穌復活、皆獲大寵、其中無窮乏者、蓋有田宅者、鬻而攜其金、置使徒足前、視各人所需而分予之、○

中有一人名亞迦布、感於聖神、起而言曰、天下將大饑、至革老丟該撒時、果有之、於是門徒立意、各量其力捐貲、以賙濟在猶太之兄弟、遂如此行、以所捐之貲、託巴拿巴掃羅齎諸長老、

當售爾所有以施濟、為己備常新之囊、及不匱之財在天、即盜不至、蠹不壞之處、

彼在患難多試之間、仍然多樂、在極貧之中、亦彰其施濟之厚、我證其樂捐量力且過其力焉、彼殷勤求我與之共事、納其所捐之貲、以濟聖徒、我望彼行此、不但如我所望、且始已獻己於主、又竭力事我、遵天主之旨、故我勸提多既於爾中首勸施惠捐貲、亦當畢此事、爾既豐於諸事、即於信、於言、於知識、於諸殷勤、於愛我、亦當豐於施舍、我言此、非命爾、乃因他人之殷勤、欲試爾仁愛之實、爾曹知我主耶穌基督之恩、彼原富、為爾成貧、使爾因其貧而為富、

求於爾者予之、借於爾者勿卻、○

且變產以分眾、視各人所乏、
