There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.

There will always be poor people in the land. So I’m commanding you to give freely to those who are poor and needy in your land. Open your hands to them.

For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you,‘ You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.

For there will never cease to be poor people in the land; that is why I am commanding you,‘ Open your hand willingly to your poor and needy brother in your land.’

For the poor will not cease to exist in the land; therefore I am commanding you, saying,‘ You shall fully open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’

蓋爾恆有貧者偕、不恆有我也、

主為我舍生、我於此而知愛、亦宜為兄弟舍生也、凡有斯世之財產者、視兄弟匱乏、自塞其矜恤之心、則上帝之愛烏得寓其衷哉、小子乎、我儕之愛、勿以言以舌、乃以行以誠也、

貧富錯處、悉為耶和華所造、

信者之眾、一心一志、無言所有者屬己、諸物與共、使徒以大能證主耶穌之復起、而大恩臨於眾焉、中無缺乏之人、蓋有田有宅者售之、絜其所鬻之值、置使徒足前、各依其所需分給之、○

中有亞迦布者、感於聖神而起、示天下將有大饑、至革老丟時、果應之、門徒定意各量其力、施濟猶太之兄弟、於是託巴拿巴掃羅之手、寄諸長老焉、

當售爾所有以施濟、為己備不舊之囊、在天不匱之財、即盜不至、蠹不敗之處、

即屢試於難中而甚樂、且極貧而益彰施濟之厚、我證其樂助、量力而過之、懇求我儕、俾與於供事聖徒之恩、不第如我所望、且先獻己於主、又遵上帝旨、獻己於我儕、以致我勸提多既於爾中肇行此惠、亦當畢之、爾於凡事、若信、若言、若知識、若慇懃、以及向我之愛既溢、則於此惠亦宜如是、我言此、非命爾、乃藉他人之懃懇、驗爾仁愛之實、爾知我主耶穌基督之恩、彼原富、為爾而致貧、使爾由其貧而致富、

求爾者與之、借爾者勿却、○
