And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.

Don’t forget to take care of the Levites who will live in your towns. They won’t receive any part of the land as their share.

Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.

“ The Levitical priests, all the tribe of Levi, shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They shall eat the Lord’s food offerings as their inheritance.They shall have no inheritance among their brothers; the Lord is their inheritance, as he promised them.

but you shall eat them before the Lord your God in the place that the Lord your God will choose, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your towns. And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God in all that you undertake.Take care that you do not neglect the Levite as long as you live in your land.

Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches.
