爾將驅逐列國之人、凡彼等事其神之處、無論高山上、崗上、諸茂樹下、俱當毀壞、

Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains, on the hills and under every spreading tree, where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods.

You will soon drive the nations out of it. Completely destroy all the places where they worship their gods. Destroy them on the high mountains, on the hills and under every green tree.

爾當毀其壇、碎其柱像、斫其木偶、火其雕像、必如是待之、

其神之雕像、必焚以火、其上金銀、勿貪勿取、免爾因此陷於坎阱、以其為爾上帝耶和華所惡也、可憎之物、勿攜入室、恐爾亦成為當滅者、與物無異、必憾之甚、憎之極、以其為當滅之物也、

當約西亞王時、耶和華諭我曰、悖逆之以色列、其所為者、汝見之乎、彼陟諸高岡、詣諸綠樹、行淫於彼、

在山岡之上、綠樹之下、立柱像與木偶、焚香於諸崇邱、效耶和華於其前所逐之異族、行諸惡事、激耶和華之怒、

爾其慎之、所往之地、勿與其居民立約、恐為爾之坎阱、必毀其壇、碎其柱像、斫其木偶、勿崇奉他神、蓋耶和華乃忌邪之上帝、名為忌邪、勿與居民立約、恐彼狥欲、從其神而獻祭、招爾共食祭品、而爾取其女妻爾子、其女狥欲從其神、使爾子亦狥欲從之、勿鑄神像、

告以色列族云、汝渡約但入於迦南、必於爾前驅其居民、壞其雕刻之木石、鎔鑄之偶像、毀厥崇邱、

我既導之入所誓賜之地、彼見高岡茂樹、遂乃獻祭、奉禮以激我怒、焚馨香、行灌奠、我則謂之曰、爾所登之崇邱維何、故其崇邱、迄今稱為巴麻、

昔以色列王所羅門、在耶路撒冷東、邪僻山南、為西頓人可憎之神亞斯他錄、摩押人可憎之神基抹、亞捫人可憎之神米勒公、所建之崇邱、王悉污衊之、

獻祭於山巔、焚香於岡巒、在橡楊栗之下、緣其蔭美、故爾女行姦、爾媳宣淫、

勿拜跪其神、勿崇奉之、勿傚其所為、當傾其神像、碎其柱像、

詰旦、巴勒引巴蘭至巴力崇邱、觀以色列營之邊隅、

勿與斯土之民立約、必毀其壇、而爾不聽我言、果何為哉、
