And there rejoice before the Lord your God— you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns who have no allotment or inheritance of their own.

Be filled with joy there in the sight of the Lord your God. Your children should also be joyful. So should your male and female servants. And so should the Levites from your towns. The Levites won’t receive any part of the land as their share.

And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your male servants and your female servants, and the Levite that is within your towns, since he has no portion or inheritance with you.

“ You must celebrate there in the presence of the Lord your God with your sons and daughters and all your servants. And remember to include the Levites who live in your towns, for they will receive no allotment of land among you.

「每逢第三年是十一奉獻年。你們應當把自己的十一奉獻拿出來分給利未人、寄居者和孤兒寡婦，使他們在你們居住的城邑吃飽喝足。

因此，利未人在眾支派中沒有分到土地作產業，耶和華是他們的產業，這是你們的上帝耶和華對他們的應許。

讓你們城中沒有土地的利未人、寄居者和孤兒寡婦都可以來吃飽。這樣，你們的上帝耶和華必使你們凡事蒙福。

切記，只要你們還住在自己的土地上，就不可忘記利未人。

摩西並沒有把土地分給利未支派作產業，因為獻給以色列的上帝耶和華的火祭就是他們的產業，正如耶和華對他們的應許。

我們把所見所聞傳給你們，使你們可以與我們相交。誠然，我們是與父和祂兒子耶穌基督相交。我們將這些話寫給你們，是要讓大家都充滿喜樂。

你們要讚美耶和華！歌頌我們的上帝，真是美好！讚美祂，真是快樂合宜！

只有利未人可在會幕司職，他們要擔負觸犯聖幕的罪責，這是你們世世代代要遵守的條例。利未人在以色列人中不可有產業，因為我已經把以色列人給耶和華的十分之一出產賜給他們作產業。因此，我吩咐他們不可在以色列人中有產業。」

摩西並沒有分給利未支派任何產業，因為以色列的上帝耶和華就是他們的產業，正如耶和華對他們的應許。

之後，所羅門王讓眾民各回本鄉。他們看見耶和華向祂的僕人大衛和以色列子民所施的一切恩惠，都為王祝福，並滿心歡喜地回家去了。

在耶路撒冷的以色列人非常喜樂地守除酵節七天。利未人和祭司用響亮的樂器天天頌讚耶和華。希西迦慰勞所有善於事奉耶和華的利未人。於是，眾人歡宴過節七天，又獻上平安祭，稱謝他們祖先的上帝耶和華。全體會眾商議要再守節期七天，於是大家又歡歡喜喜地守節期七天。猶大王希西迦送給會眾一千頭公牛和七千隻羊，眾官員也送給會眾一千頭公牛和一萬隻羊，並且很多祭司都已潔淨自己。猶大全體會眾、祭司、利未人和從以色列來的全體會眾，以及寄居在以色列和猶大的人盡都歡喜。全耶路撒冷都喜氣洋洋，因為自以色列王大衛的兒子所羅門時代以來，耶路撒冷從未有過這樣的盛會。

希西迦和民眾因上帝為他們所做的而歡喜快樂，因為這事情很快成就了。

約瑟的子孫已分為瑪拿西和以法蓮兩個支派。利未人沒有分到地，但有城邑居住，還有城郊可以牧養牲畜，安置財物。

尼希米又說：「你們去吃肥美的肉，喝甘甜的酒，並分些給一無所有的人，因為今天是我們主的聖日。不要悲傷，因為從耶和華而來的喜樂就是你們的力量。」利未人使全體民眾安靜，說：「請安靜，因為今天是聖日。不要悲傷。」於是，全體民眾去吃喝，並分給他人，非常歡喜，因為他們明白了教導給他們的話。

普世要向耶和華歡呼！你們要高高興興地事奉耶和華，到祂面前來歡唱。

住棚節期間，你們要和兒女、僕婢、同城的利未人、寄居者及孤兒寡婦一起歡慶。

「以色列境內任何地方的利未人若願意離開自己所住的城，去耶和華選定的地方，

在那裡，你們可以隨意買牛、羊、淡酒或烈酒，然後一家人在你們的上帝耶和華面前吃喝快樂。不可忘記住在你們城裡的利未人，因為利未人沒有分到土地作產業。

你們要和兒女、僕婢、同城的利未人、寄居者及孤兒寡婦在你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所，在祂面前一起歡喜快樂。

「你把以下條例告訴利未人。「你們從以色列人手中得到我賜給你們作產業的十分之一後，要從中取出十分之一作為舉祭獻給耶和華，

「利未祭司及其他利未支派的人在以色列不可擁有土地。他們吃的是獻給耶和華的火祭，那是他們的產業。他們在眾支派中沒有自己的產業，因為耶和華是他們的產業，這是祂的應許。
