这样，你们就会得享长寿，你们及子孙就会终生敬畏你们的上帝耶和华，遵守祂借我吩咐你们的一切律例和诫命。

“‘要遵照你的上帝耶和华的吩咐孝敬父母，以便在你的上帝耶和华要赐给你的土地上享长寿，蒙祝福。

在第一次复活的时候复活的人是有福的，是圣洁的，他们不在第二次死亡的权势之下。他们必做上帝和基督的祭司，与祂共掌王权一千年。

智慧的右手有长寿，左手有富贵和尊荣。

再没有只活几天便夭折的婴儿，也没有寿数未尽便死的老人，因为满了百岁便死的人不过算是青年，不足百岁便死的人被视为受了咒诅。
