叫耶和華的怒氣向你發作，就把天封閉，不降下雨水，地也不生出土產，使你們從耶和華賜給你們的美地上，快快地滅亡。

以致永恆主向你們發怒，就把天抑制着，使天沒有雨水，田地生不出土產，你們就會從永恆主所賜給你們的美地上迅速地滅亡。

致耶和華震怒擊爾、使天閉塞不雨、物產不生、爾則於耶和華所賜之美地、必速滅亡、

恐耶和華震怒、使天地閉塞、霖雨不降、物產不生、雖在耶和華所賜之腴壤、而爾滅亡甚速。

恐主震怒爾曹、使天不降雨、使地不產物、使爾在主所賜爾之美地滅亡甚速、

Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the Lord is giving you.

If you do, the Lord will be very angry with you. He’ll close up the sky. It won’t rain. The ground won’t produce its crops. Soon you will die. You won’t live to enjoy the good land the Lord is giving you.

then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and he will shut up the heavens, so that there will be no rain, and the land will yield no fruit, and you will perish quickly off the good land that the Lord is giving you.

If you do, the Lord’s anger will burn against you. He will shut up the sky and hold back the rain, and the ground will fail to produce its harvests. Then you will quickly die in that good land the Lord is giving you.

Then the LORD’s anger will burn against you. He will shut the sky, and there will be no rain; the land will not yield its produce, and you will perish quickly from the good land the LORD is giving you.

Otherwise, the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and He will shut up the sky so that there will be no rain, and the ground will not yield its produce; then you will quickly perish from the good land which the Lord is giving you.

lest the LORD’s anger be aroused against you, and He shut up the heavens so that there be no rain, and the land yield no produce, and you perish quickly from the good land which the Lord is giving you.

and the anger of Jehovah be kindled against you, and he shut up the heavens, so that there shall be no rain, and the land shall not yield its fruit; and ye perish quickly from off the good land which Jehovah giveth you.

Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you. He will close the sky, and there will be no rain; the land will not yield its produce, and you will perish quickly from the good land the Lord is giving you.

And[ then] the LORD’S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and[ lest] ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

Then the anger of the LORD will erupt against you and he will close up the sky so that it does not rain. The land will not yield its produce, and you will soon be removed from the good land that the Lord is about to give you.

and Yahweh’s anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky so that there is no rain, and the land doesn’t yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which Yahweh gives you.

我今日就呼天喚地向你們作證，你們必在過約旦河取得為業的地上迅速滅亡；你們必不能在那地長久生存，必全被消滅。

“你的子民因得罪了你，你懲罰他們，使天閉塞不下雨；如果他們向著這地方禱告，承認你的名，離開他們的罪，

因為在你們中間的耶和華你們的神，是忌邪的神，恐怕耶和華你的神向你發怒，就把你從這地上消滅。

“如果他們因為得罪了你，天就閉塞不下雨；他們若是向這地方禱告，承認你的名；又因你苦待他們，就離開他們的罪，

如果我使天閉塞不下雨，或吩咐蝗蟲吞吃這地的土產，或差遣瘟疫到我的子民中間來；

“我曾在收割前三個月，不降雨給你們；我降雨給一個城，在另一個城卻不降雨；我在一塊地降雨，另一塊地沒有雨水就枯乾了。

你頭上的天必變成銅，你腳下的地必變成鐵。耶和華必使你地上的雨水變為飛沙塵土，從天上下到你身上，直到你被消滅。

“你們期望豐收，反倒歉收；你們收到家裡的，我就吹去。”為甚麼呢？萬軍之耶和華說：“因為我的殿宇荒廢，你們各人卻為自己的房屋奔馳。所以，因你們的緣故，天就不降甘露，地也不出土產。我叫乾旱臨到大地、群山、五穀、新酒、新油、地上的出產、人畜和人手勞碌得來的一切。”

耶和華的話臨到耶利米，是關於旱災的事：“猶大悲哀，她的城鎮（“城鎮”原文作“城門”）衰落，人人都坐在地上悲傷痛哭；耶路撒冷的哀聲上達於天。他們的顯貴差派童僕去打水；童僕來到池邊，卻找不到水，就拿著空的器皿回來；他們失望難過，蒙著自己的頭。土地乾裂，因為地上沒有雨水；農夫失望，都蒙著自己的頭。甚至母鹿在田野生產了小鹿，也得把牠丟棄，因為沒有青草。野驢站在光禿的高岡上，像野狗喘著氣；牠們雙目發呆，因為沒有青草。”

如果將來你真的忘記了耶和華你的神，去隨從別的神，事奉和敬拜他們，你們必定滅亡，這是我今日警告你們的。耶和華從你們面前怎樣使萬國的民滅亡，你們也必照樣滅亡，因為你們沒有聽從耶和華你們神的話。”

提斯比人以利亞，就是從基列的提斯比來的（按照《馬索拉文本》，“從基列的提斯比來的”作“基列的寄居者”;現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯）先知，對亞哈說：“我指著我所事奉永活的耶和華以色列的神起誓，這幾年若是沒有我的命令，天必不降露，也不下雨。”

但是，如果你的心偏離了，不肯聽從，卻被人勾引，去敬拜和事奉別的神；我今日鄭重地告訴你們，你們必要滅亡；在你過約旦河，進去得為業的地上，你的年日必不長久。

你們就必知道，耶和華你們的神必不再把這些國家從你們面前趕出去；他們必要成為你們的網羅和陷阱，肋下的鞭和眼中的刺，直到你們從耶和華你們的神賜給你們的這美地上滅亡為止。“看哪，我今天要走世人必經的路了。你們清清楚楚（“清清楚楚”原文作“一心一意”）知道耶和華你們的神應許賜福給你們的話，沒有一句落空；完全應驗在你們身上，沒有一句落空。耶和華你們的神應許你們的一切福氣怎樣臨到你們身上，耶和華也必照樣使各樣的災禍臨到你們身上，直到把你們從耶和華你們的神賜給你們的這美地上消滅為止。如果你們違背了耶和華你們的神吩咐你們遵守的約，去事奉別的神，敬拜他們，耶和華必向你們大發烈怒，使你們從他賜給你們的美地上迅速滅亡。”
