The Lord wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

The Lord wrote on the tablets what he had written before. It was the Ten Commandments. He had announced them to you out of the fire on the mountain. It was on the day you had gathered together there. So the Lord gave the tablets to me.

And he wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

Once again the Lord wrote the Ten Commandments on the tablets and gave them to me. They were the same words the Lord had spoken to you from the heart of the fire on the day you were assembled at the foot of the mountain.

Then on the day of the assembly, the LORD wrote on the tablets what had been written previously, the Ten Commandments that he had spoken to you on the mountain from the fire. The LORD gave them to me,

Then He wrote on the tablets, like the first writing, the Ten Commandments which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me.

And He wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Commandments, which the Lord had spoken to you in the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me.

And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Jehovah spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and Jehovah gave them unto me.

Then on the day of the assembly, the Lord wrote on the tablets what had been written previously, the Ten Commandments that He had spoken to you on the mountain from the fire. The Lord gave them to me,

And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.

The LORD then wrote on the tablets the same words, the ten commandments, which he had spoken to you at the mountain from the middle of the fire at the time of that assembly, and he gave them to me.

He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.

耶和華把那兩塊石版交給我，是上帝用指頭寫成的；版上是耶和華在大會的那一天，在山上從火中對你們所說的一切話。

摩西在耶和華那裏四十晝夜，不吃飯不喝水。他把這約的話，那十條誡命，寫在版上。

這正如你在何烈山大會的那日向耶和華－你的上帝所求的一切，說：『求你不要再叫我聽見耶和華－我上帝的聲音，也不要再叫我看見這大火，免得我死亡。』

你們不是來到那可觸摸的山，那裏有火焰、密雲、黑暗、暴風、角聲，和說話的聲音；當時那些聽見這聲音的，都求不要再向他們說話，

耶和華在山上，從火中，面對面與你們說話。那時我站在耶和華和你們之間，要將耶和華的話傳給你們，因為你們懼怕那火，沒有上山。他說：「『我是耶和華－你的上帝，曾將你從埃及地為奴之家領出來。「『除了我以外，你不可有別的神。「『不可為自己雕刻偶像，也不可做甚麼形像，彷彿上天、下地和地底下水中的百物。不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它們，因為我耶和華－你的上帝是忌邪的上帝。恨我的，我必懲罰他們的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代；愛我、守我誡命的，我必向他們施慈愛，直到千代。「『不可妄稱耶和華－你上帝的名，因為妄稱耶和華名的，耶和華必不以他為無罪。「『當守安息日為聖日，正如耶和華－你上帝所吩咐的。六日要勞碌做你一切的工，但第七日是向耶和華－你的上帝當守的安息日。這一日，你和你的兒女、僕婢、牛、驢、牲畜，以及你城裏寄居的客旅，都不可做任何的工，使你的僕婢可以和你一樣休息。你要記念你在埃及地作過奴僕，耶和華－你的上帝用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂領你從那裏出來。因此，耶和華－你的上帝吩咐你守安息日。「『當孝敬父母，正如耶和華－你上帝所吩咐的，使你得福，並使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜給你的地上得以長久。「『不可殺人。「『不可姦淫。「『不可偷盜。「『不可做假見證陷害你的鄰舍。「『不可貪戀你鄰舍的妻子；也不可貪圖你鄰舍的房屋、田地、僕婢、牛驢，以及他一切所有的。』「這些話是耶和華在山上，從火焰、密雲、幽暗中，大聲吩咐你們全會眾的，再沒有加添別的話了。他把這些話寫在兩塊石版上，交給我。山被火焰燒着，你們聽見從黑暗中發出的聲音，那時，你們各支派的領袖和長老都挨近我。你們說：『看哪，耶和華－我們的上帝將他的榮耀和他的偉大顯給我們看，我們也聽見他從火中發出的聲音。今日我們看到上帝與人說話，人還活着。現在這大火將要吞滅我們，我們何必死呢？若再聽見耶和華我們上帝的聲音，我們就必死。凡血肉之軀，有誰像我們一樣，聽見了永生上帝從火中講話的聲音還能活着呢？

那時，你們近前來，站在山下；山上有火燃燒，直沖天頂，並有黑暗、密雲、幽暗。耶和華從火焰中對你們說話，你們聽見說話的聲音，只有聲音，卻沒有看見形像。他將所吩咐你們當守的約指示你們，就是十條誡命，並將誡命寫在兩塊石版上。那時，耶和華吩咐我將律例典章教導你們，使你們在所要過去得為業的地上遵行。」「所以，你們為自己的緣故要分外謹慎；因為耶和華在何烈山，從火中對你們說話的那日，你們沒有看見任何形像。

摩西率領百姓出營迎見上帝，都站在山下。西奈山全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降臨山上。山的煙霧上騰，彷彿燒窰，整座山劇烈震動。
