又對他們說：「照經上所寫的，基督必受害，第三天從死人中復活，

耶和華說：「給他起名叫羅‧阿米；因為你們不是我的子民，我也不是你們的上帝。」

這是誰，像尼羅河漲溢，如江河的水翻騰呢？

我從地上被舉起來的時候，我要吸引萬人來歸我。」耶穌這話是指自己將要怎樣死說的。眾人就回答他：「我們聽見律法書上說，基督是永存的；你怎麼說，人子必須被舉起來呢？這人子是誰呢？」

上帝使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好使我們在他裏面成為上帝的義。

「天國好比一個王為他兒子擺設娶親的宴席。

我不再和你們多說了，因為這世界的統治者將到，他在我身上一無所能。

他們要倒在刀下，又被擄到各國去。耶路撒冷要被外邦人踐踏，直到外邦人的日子滿了。」

「他必定意傾全國之力而來，與南方王訂約，把自己的女兒給南方王為妻，企圖敗壞他的國度。這計謀卻未得逞，自己也得不到好處。

因此，看哪，主必使亞述王和他的威勢如大河翻騰洶湧的水上漲，蓋過他們，必上漲超過一切水道，漲過兩岸，

設下假見證，說：「這個人不斷地說話，侮辱神聖的地方和律法。我們曾聽見他說，這拿撒勒人耶穌要毀壞這地方，也要改變摩西所交給我們的規矩。」

既然基督為我們成了詛咒，就把我們從律法的詛咒中贖出來。因為經上記着：「凡掛在木頭上的都是受詛咒的。」

他被掛在木頭上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然在罪上死，就得以在義上活。因他受的鞭傷，你們得了醫治。

他這話不是出於自己的意思，而是因他那年當大祭司，所以預言耶穌將為這民族而死。他不但替這民族死，還要把上帝四散的兒女都聚集起來，合成一羣。
