And Jesus said to him,“ Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

But with an overflowing flood he will make a complete end of the adversaries, and will pursue his enemies into darkness.

And he said to them,“ Elijah does come first to restore all things. And how is it written of the Son of Man that he should suffer many things and be treated with contempt?

Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?”

For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every sideand tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

But he answered them,“ You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

“ His sons shall wage war and assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall keep coming and overflow and pass through, and again shall carry the war as far as his fortress.

my strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my jaws; you lay me in the dust of death.

and said to them,“ Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead,

And the Lord said,“ Call his name Not My People, for you are not my people, and I am not your God.”

“ Who is this, rising like the Nile, like rivers whose waters surge?

And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die.So the crowd answered him,“ We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

“ The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son,

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me,

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.“ Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.But the one who endures to the end will be saved.And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. This must take place, but the end is not yet.

Shall not the land tremble on this account, and everyone mourn who dwells in it, and all of it rise like the Nile, and be tossed about and sink again, like the Nile of Egypt?”

And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

See, your house is left to you desolate.

The Lord God of hosts, he who touches the earth and it melts, and all who dwell in it mourn, and all of it rises like the Nile, and sinks again, like the Nile of Egypt;

For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.

The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

He shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and he shall bring terms of an agreement and perform them. He shall give him the daughter of women to destroy the kingdom, but it shall not stand or be to his advantage.

“ As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

therefore, behold, the Lord is bringing up against them the waters of the River, mighty and many, the king of Assyria and all his glory. And it will rise over all its channels and go over all its banks,

and they set up false witnesses who said,“ This man never ceases to speak words against this holy place and the law,for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and will change the customs that Moses delivered to us.”

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us— for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.
