耶穌對他們說：「你們不是看見這殿宇嗎？我實在告訴你們，將來在這裏沒有一塊石頭留在石頭上，不被拆毀了。」

「北方王的二子必動干戈，招聚許多軍兵。這軍兵前去，如洪水氾濫，又必再去爭戰，直到南方王的保障。

我的精力枯乾，如同瓦片；我的舌頭貼在我牙牀上。你將我安置在死地的塵土中。

又對他們說：「照經上所寫的，基督必受害，第三日從死裏復活，

耶和華說：「給他起名叫羅‧阿米；因為你們不作我的子民，我也不作你們的神。」

像尼羅河漲發，像江河之水翻騰的是誰呢？

我若從地上被舉起來，就要吸引萬人來歸我。」耶穌這話原是指着自己將要怎樣死說的。眾人回答說：「我們聽見律法上有話說，基督是永存的，你怎麼說『人子必須被舉起來』呢？這人子是誰呢？」

神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好叫我們在他裏面成為神的義。

「天國好比一個王為他兒子擺設娶親的筵席，

以後我不再和你們多說話，因為這世界的王將到。他在我裏面是毫無所有；

他們要倒在刀下，又被擄到各國去。耶路撒冷要被外邦人踐踏，直到外邦人的日期滿了。」

你們也要聽見打仗和打仗的風聲，總不要驚慌；因為這些事是必須有的，只是末期還沒有到。民要攻打民，國要攻打國；多處必有饑荒、地震。這都是災難的起頭。那時，人要把你們陷在患難裏，也要殺害你們；你們又要為我的名被萬民恨惡。那時，必有許多人跌倒，也要彼此陷害，彼此恨惡；且有好些假先知起來，迷惑多人。只因不法的事增多，許多人的愛心才漸漸冷淡了。惟有忍耐到底的，必然得救。這天國的福音要傳遍天下，對萬民作見證，然後末期才來到。」

你們聽見打仗和打仗的風聲，不要驚慌。這些事是必須有的，只是末期還沒有到。

你們蒙召原是為此；因基督也為你們受過苦，給你們留下榜樣，叫你們跟隨他的腳蹤行。

王就大怒，發兵除滅那些兇手，燒毀他們的城。

因基督也曾一次為罪受苦，就是義的代替不義的，為要引我們到神面前。按着肉體說，他被治死；按着靈性說，他復活了。

「他必定意用全國之力而來，立公正的約，照約而行，將自己的女兒給南方王為妻，想要敗壞他，這計卻不得成就，與自己毫無益處。

耶穌就說：「論到你們所看見的這一切，將來日子到了，在這裏沒有一塊石頭留在石頭上，不被拆毀了。」

因此，主必使大河翻騰的水猛然沖來，就是亞述王和他所有的威勢，必漫過一切的水道，漲過兩岸；

設下假見證，說：「這個人說話，不住地糟踐聖所和律法。我們曾聽見他說，這拿撒勒人耶穌要毀壞此地，也要改變摩西所交給我們的規條。」

基督既為我們受了咒詛，就贖出我們脫離律法的咒詛；因為經上記着：「凡掛在木頭上都是被咒詛的。」

他被掛在木頭上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然在罪上死，就得以在義上活。因他受的鞭傷，你們便得了醫治。

他這話不是出於自己，是因他本年作大祭司，所以預言耶穌將要替這一國死；也不但替這一國死，並要將神四散的子民都聚集歸一。
