天使回答说：“我是侍立在上帝面前的加百列，奉命来向你报这喜讯。

我听见有人声从乌莱河两岸之间呼喊：“加百列啊，要让此人明白这异象。”

到了献晚祭的时候，以利亚先知走到坛前祷告：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝耶和华啊，求你今天让这些人知道你是以色列的上帝，我是你的仆人，我是按你的命令做这一切事。

后来，有一位样子像人的用手摸我的嘴唇，我便开口对站在我面前的说：“我主啊，因为这异象，我痛苦不堪，毫无气力。

天使岂不都是服役的灵吗？他们奉差遣，岂不是去为那些将要承受救恩的人服务吗？

一天，大约下午三点，他在异象中清楚地看见一位上帝的天使进来呼唤他：“哥尼流！”

在祂上方侍立着撒拉弗天使，他们各有三对翅膀：一对遮脸，一对遮脚，一对飞翔。

一只在早晨献上，另一只在黄昏献上。

他和我说话的时候，我伏在地上昏睡过去，他便轻拍我，扶我起来，

听从耶和华的命令、遵行祂吩咐的大能天使啊，你们要称颂祂！

有个撒拉弗天使用火钳从祭坛上取了一块燃烧的炭，飞到我面前，用炭碰我的嘴唇，说：“看啊，这炭碰了你的嘴唇，你的过犯已被除掉，你的罪恶已被赦免。”

上帝提到天使的时候，也只是说：“上帝使祂的天使成为风，使祂的仆役成为火焰。”

听了以色列上帝的话而战抖的人都聚集在我周围，因为流亡归来的人不忠。我惊惧地坐在那里，直到献晚祭的时候。献晚祭的时候，我满怀忧伤地起来，穿着那撕裂的衣服和外袍，双膝跪下，向我的上帝耶和华伸出双手，

大约下午三点，耶稣大声呼喊：“以利，以利，拉马撒巴各大尼？”意思是：“我的上帝，我的上帝，你为什么离弃我？”

他们的翅膀向上展开，每个活物的一对翅膀与其他活物的翅膀相连，另外一对翅膀遮蔽身体。

风是你的使者，火焰是你的仆役。

忽然，有一位主的天使站在彼得身旁，监牢内一片光明，天使拍他的肋旁，把他叫醒，说：“赶快起来！”铁链就从他手上脱落下来。

于是，那位样子像人的再次摸我，使我有力量。

这些活物像闪电一样往来飞驰。

一天，在下午三点祷告的时间，彼得和约翰去圣殿。

忽然有一只手轻拍我，扶我用膝和手掌支撑起身体。

第二天中午，他们快要到达约帕时，彼得上屋顶去祷告。
