主啊！求你垂听。主啊！求你赦免。主啊！求你应允而行。我的神啊！为了你自己的缘故，求你不要耽延。因为你的城和你的子民都是称为你名下的。”

主啊，求你垂听！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你留心听并且行动！我的神哪，为你自己的缘故，求你不要迟延，因为你的城和你的子民都是被称为你名下的。”

求主垂聽，求主赦免，求主應允而行，為你自己不要遲延。我的神啊，因這城和這民都是稱為你名下的。」

斯邑斯民、皆屬上帝、望主垂聽、望主赦宥、望主助余勿緩、以彰爾榮、

求主垂聽、求主赦宥、求主俯顧、求我天主為主之名、行救莫緩、行救莫緩或作循我所求而行莫遲延蓋斯邑乃主之邑、斯民亦主之民、俱歸主之名、

Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.”

Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, listen and take action! For Your own sake, my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God, because thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, listen and act! My God, for Your own sake, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.

Why should you be like a scared man, as a mighty man who can’t save? Yet you, Yahweh, are in the middle of us, and we are called by your name. Don’t leave us.

My God, turn your ear, and hear. Open your eyes, and see our desolations, and the city which is called by your name; for we do not present our petitions before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies’ sake.

I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.

to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,

to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ.

When they finished eating the grass of the land, then I said,“ Lord Yahweh, forgive, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”

Though our iniquities testify against us, work for your name’s sake, Yahweh; for our rebellions are many. We have sinned against you.

Please pardon the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your loving kindness, and just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”

How long, Yahweh? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?Pour out your wrath on the nations that don’t know you, on the kingdoms that don’t call on your name;

Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.“ If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house;then hear in heaven, and act, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.“ When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you; if they turn again to you, and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house;then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.“ When the sky is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you afflict them,then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.“ If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight, mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities; whatever plague, whatever sickness there is;whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands toward this house,then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know( for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);

then hear from heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to them and to their fathers.“ When the sky is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you afflict them;then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.“ If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemies besiege them in the land of their cities; whatever plague or whatever sickness there is;whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who will each know his own plague and his own sorrow, and shall spread out his hands toward this house;then hear from heaven your dwelling place and forgive, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know( for you, even you only, know the hearts of the children of men)

Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?Won’t you revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

“ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.

We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!

We acknowledge, Yahweh, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against you.Do not abhor us, for your name’s sake. Do not disgrace the throne of your glory. Remember, and don’t break your covenant with us.

But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

Wake up! Why do you sleep, Lord? Arise! Don’t reject us forever.Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?For our soul is bowed down to the dust. Our body clings to the earth.Rise up to help us. Redeem us for your loving kindness’ sake.

then hear from heaven, even from your dwelling place, their prayer and their petitions, and maintain their cause, and forgive your people who have sinned against you.

For, behold, I begin to work evil at the city which is called by my name; and should you be utterly unpunished? You will not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth, says Yahweh of Armies.”’

to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved,

“ Therefore tell the house of Israel,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.

Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God, now?”

Listen to the petitions of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear from your dwelling place, even from heaven; and when you hear, forgive.

For you are our Father, though Abraham doesn’t know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, Yahweh, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.O Yahweh, why do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.Your holy people possessed it but a little while. Our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.So the nations will fear Yahweh’s name, all the kings of the earth your glory.For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.

Don’t hold the iniquities of our forefathers against us. Let your tender mercies speedily meet us, for we are in desperate need.Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God?” Let it be known among the nations, before our eyes, that vengeance for your servants’ blood is being poured out.

Nevertheless I withdrew my hand, and worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

Don’t be furious, Yahweh. Don’t remember iniquity forever. Look and see, we beg you, we are all your people.Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.Our holy and our beautiful house where our fathers praised you is burned with fire. All our pleasant places are laid waste.Will you hold yourself back for these things, Yahweh? Will you keep silent and punish us very severely?

But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, among which they were, in whose sight I made myself known to them, in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.
