He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.

He will tell lies in order to succeed. He will think he is more important than anyone else. When people feel safe, he will destroy many of them. He will stand up against the greatest Prince of all. Then he will be destroyed. But he will not be killed by human beings.

By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall become great. Without warning he shall destroy many. And he shall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken— but by no human hand.

He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power.

He will cause deceit to prosper through his cunning and by his influence, and in his own mind he will exalt himself. He will destroy many in a time of peace; he will even stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be broken— not by human hands.

And through his shrewdness He will make deceit a success by his influence; And he will make himself great in his own mind, And he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency.

“ Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; But he shall be broken without human means.

And through his policy he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and in their security shall he destroy many: he shall also stand up against the prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

它高抬自己，要高达天军之首；它还除掉给天军之首常献的祭，使他的圣所之地被丢弃。

接着，我看见那兽和地上的众君王以及他们的军兵聚集在一起，要与骑白马的那一位和他的军队作战。但那兽被抓了；那假先知也与它一起被抓了——他在兽面前行了许多奇迹，藉此迷惑那些接受兽的印记并膜拜兽像的人。兽和那假先知两个都活生生地被丢进燃烧着硫磺的火湖里。其余的人，也都被骑白马那一位口中所发出的剑杀死了。所有的鸟都吃饱了他们的肉。

他必在两海之间的荣美圣山上搭起他的王宫帐幕，但他的结局将要来到，没有人帮助他。

“我正在注视这些犄角，看哪，有另一只小犄角在它们中间长出来，先前的那些犄角中有三只从它面前被连根拔出！看哪，这犄角上有眼睛，好像人的眼睛，又有说大话的口！

然而庭审将要开始，那王的权柄必被夺去，除灭消亡，直到永远。

“这王任意而行，自高自大，高抬自己超过一切神明，并说荒谬的话来敌对万神之神；他事事顺利，直到愤怒的时期终结，因为那被注定的事必成就。他不顾祖先的神明，不顾女人们所爱慕的神明，也不顾任何其他的神明，因为他高抬自己超过一切。

他必用圆滑的话语使那些违背圣约的人堕落，但那些认识神的子民必坚强，并付诸行动。子民中那些明达的人会使许多人有悟性，但在一段日子里，他们会倒在刀剑或火焰之下，倒在被掳或掳掠中。

在这些王权的末期，当叛逆者们的叛逆达到极点的时候，将要兴起一个王，他傲慢残暴，诡计多端；他的力量必强盛，却不是出于自己的力量；他必带来极不寻常的毁灭，他所做的都顺利；他必毁灭强者和圣洁之民；

“这些君王年间，天上的神必立起一个永不毁灭的国度，这国度不会交给别的民族，却会砸碎、终结所有这些国，而它会存到永远，就像你看到那块从山而出、非人手凿出的石头，砸碎了铁、铜、泥、银、金那样。伟大的神已经给王显明了此后将要发生的事。这梦是确实的，梦的释义也是可靠的。”

“此后必有一个卑鄙的人兴起坐上王位；他没有被赐予王权的尊荣，却在人安稳无备的时候来到，以奸滑的手段抓取了王权。洪流般的军队在他面前必被冲没、摧毁，立约的领袖也必如此。他与立约的领袖结盟之后，就行诡诈；他必从少数的国民渐渐强盛起来，在人安稳无备的时候侵入南方国省中那些肥美之地，行他祖先和他祖先的祖先都未行过的事；他把掠物、战利品和财物分给自己的人，谋划计策攻击多个堡垒，但这只是短暂的时间。“他必激起力量和勇气，率领大军攻击南方王。南方王也调动极大极强的军队迎战，却站立不住，因为有些人谋划计策与他作对，

你继续观看，有一块非人手凿出的石头，砸在这像的铁和泥的脚上，把脚砸碎了。这样，铁、泥、铜、银、金都一同被砸得粉碎了，就像夏天打谷场上的糠秕，被风吹散，无踪迹可寻；但砸这像的石头却变成一座大山，充满全地。

他们将要与羔羊交战，而羔羊将胜过他们，因为他是万主之主，万王之王；与羔羊在一起的，是那些蒙召唤的、蒙拣选的、忠心的人。”

主的一位天使立刻击打希律，因为他没有把荣耀归给神。他被虫咬蚀，就断了气。

在他的袍子上、大腿上写着一个名号：“万王之王，万主之主。”
