So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me,“ Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”

彼遂近我所立之處、既至、我則懼、面伏於地、彼謂我曰、人子歟、其知此異象、因關乎末期也、

彼至我所、我懼俯伏於地、彼曰人子宜曉然所見之異象、乃指末日之事、

彼至我立之所、彼來時、我甚懼、面伏於地、彼告我曰、人子、當知此異象、末期必應、末期必應或作乃指末期之事

As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”

Gabriel came close to where I was standing. I was terrified and fell down flat with my face toward the ground. Here is what he said to me.“ Son of man, I want you to understand the vision. It’s about the time of the end.”

As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground.“ Son of man,” he said,“ you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.”

So he approached where I was standing; when he came near, I was terrified and fell facedown.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; and he said to me,“ Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was affrighted, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man; for the vision belongeth to the time of the end.

So he approached where I was standing; when he came near, I was terrified and fell facedown.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end[ shall be] the vision.

So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. Then he said to me,“ Understand, son of man, that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened, and fell on my face; but he said to me,“ Understand, son of man; for the vision belongs to the time of the end.”

He said,“ Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the indignation, for it refers to the appointed time of the end.

But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

and some of the wise shall stumble, so that they may be refined, purified, and made white, until the time of the end, for it still awaits the appointed time.“ And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying,“ Fear not, I am the first and the last,

“ At the time of the end, the king of the south shall attack him, but the king of the north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships. And he shall come into countries and shall overflow and pass through.

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end— it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

But go your way till the end. And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.”

Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.And he said to me,“ Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.”

And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

And the angel said to me,“ Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me,“ These are the true words of God.”Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me,“ You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

And behold, one in the likeness of the children of man touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to him who stood before me,“ O my lord, by reason of the vision pains have come upon me, and I retain no strength.

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me,

Then Abram fell on his face. And God said to him,

And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.And Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great trembling fell upon them, and they fled to hide themselves.So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength was left in me. My radiant appearance was fearfully changed, and I retained no strength.

And he said to me,“ O Daniel, man greatly loved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for now I have been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling.

At the beginning of your pleas for mercy a word went out, and I have come to tell it to you, for you are greatly loved. Therefore consider the word and understand the vision.

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him.

“ Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man.
