大山因他震動，小山也都融化；大地在他面前突起，世界和住在其間的也都如此。他發憤恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的憤怒如火傾洩而出，磐石因他崩裂。

我又觀看，我聽見寶座和活物及長老的周圍有許多天使的聲音；他們的數目有千千萬萬，

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和那坐在上面的；天和地都從他面前逃避，再也找不到它們的位置了。我又看見死了的人，無論大小，都站在寶座前。案卷都展開了，並另有一卷展開，就是生命冊。死了的人都憑着這些案卷所記載的，照他們所行的受審判。於是海交出其中的死人，死亡和陰間也交出其中的死人；他們都照各人所行的受審判。死亡和陰間也被扔進火湖裏，這火湖就是第二次的死。凡名字沒有記在生命冊上的人，就被扔進火湖裏。

米該雅說：「因此你要聽耶和華的話！我看見耶和華坐在寶座上，天上的萬軍侍立在他左右。

看哪，耶和華必在火中降臨，他的戰車宛如暴風，以烈怒施行報應，以火焰施行責罰；耶和華必以火與刀審判凡有血肉之軀的，被耶和華所殺的很多。

願天歡喜，願地快樂！願海和其中所充滿的澎湃！願田和其中所有的都歡樂！那時，林中的樹木都要在耶和華面前歡呼。因為他來了，他來要審判全地。他要按公義審判世界，按信實審判萬民。

密雲和幽暗在他四圍，公義和公平是他寶座的根基。烈火在他前頭行，燒滅他四圍的敵人。

神的車輦累萬盈千；主在其中，好像在西奈聖山一樣。

亞當的七世孫以諾曾預言這些人說：「看哪，主帶着他的千萬聖者來臨，

「當人子在他榮耀裏，同着眾天使來臨的時候，要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

但是你們是來到錫安山，永生神的城，就是天上的耶路撒冷，那裏有千千萬萬的天使，
