得了夢的神言人儘可以將夢敘說出來呀；得了我的話的人儘可以老老實實講說我的話呀。永恆主發神諭說，禾藁怎能跟麥子比較呢？

『日後我必將我的靈傾注於一切血肉之人；你們的兒女就必說豫言，你們的老年人就作異夢，你們的少年人就見異象。

我但以理呢、我的靈在它的鞘子裏愁苦；我腦中所見的異象使我驚惶。

其實上帝用一種方法、乃至於兩種方法、說話，人卻不留意呢。當世人睡在床上瞇瞇沉睡時，在夢中或夜間的異象中、上帝開啓世人的耳朵，用警告驚嚇他，

永恆主回答我說：『將異象寫下來，使它清清楚楚在版上，讓讀的人雖快跑也讀得來。

所以你要把所看見的、就是現在的事、和此後必須發生的事、都寫下來。

尼布甲尼撒執掌國政之第二年，他作了個夢，心裏煩亂不安，使他睡不着覺。

永恆主說：『你們要聽我的話；你們中間若有神言人，我永恆主就要將本身讓他在異象中認識，我要和他在夢中說話。

在夜裏異象中，上帝對以色列說：『雅各，雅各。』雅各說：『我在這裏呢。』

我夜間異象中在觀看着，見有一位像人的駕着天雲而來，到那壽高年邁者那裏，被引晉到他面前。

於是耶利米把尼利亞的兒子巴錄叫來；巴錄就由耶利米口傳將永恆主的一切話、就是他對耶利米所說的、都寫在書卷上。

只有一位在天上的上帝、他能將機密的事啓示出來；他已將日後要發生的事告訴了尼布甲尼撒王了。你的夢和你在床上在腦中所見的異象是這樣：王啊，你在床上、你的思想上來、想到此後將會發生的事；那能啓示機密事的主就把將來要發生的事告訴了你了。

凡從前所寫的經，都是要讓我們受教訓而寫的，使我們由於堅忍、由於經上的鼓勵、能持守着盼望。

我不得不誇口。誇口固然是無益，但我如今卻要進一步、講到主所賜的顯象和啓示。

列國都必服事他和他的兒子、孫子，直到他本國之地——甚至是他本人——遭報的時期來到；那時許多國許多大王都必使他做奴僕。

而你呢，伯沙撒啊，你是他的兒子，你雖知道這一切，你心仍不自己謙卑，

第三十年四月初五日、我在迦巴魯河邊流亡人之中，天開了，我看見關於上帝的異象。

此後我夜間異象中在觀看着，看見第四隻獸可怕可懼，非常強壯；牠有大鐵牙，吞喫嚼碎；剩下的用腳去踹。這獸跟以前所有的獸大不相同；牠有十個角。

就在那一夜、迦勒底王伯沙撒就被弒殺了。

七雷說話的時候，我正要寫下來；就聽見有聲音從天上說：『你要蓋印封上七雷所說的話，不可寫出來。』

這些事以後、永恆主的話在異象中傳與亞伯蘭，說：『亞伯蘭，你不要怕！我是你的盾牌；你的報賞極大呀。』

永恆主對我說：『你拿一個大牌，用人通行的筆法寫上「擄搶快到」這幾個字。』

如今你去，在他們面前將這話寫在版上，記在書上，以便傳留後日，做證據到永遠。

伯沙撒王掌國政之第三年，有異象現與我但以理看見，是在先前現與我看見的之後。
