with three administrators over them, one of whom was Daniel. The satraps were made accountable to them so that the king might not suffer loss.

He placed three leaders over them. One of the leaders was Daniel. The royal rulers were made accountable to the three leaders. Then the king wouldn’t lose any of his wealth.

and over them three high officials, of whom Daniel was one, to whom these satraps should give account, so that the king might suffer no loss.

The king also chose Daniel and two others as administrators to supervise the high officers and protect the king’s interests.

於是伯沙撒下令，人就把紫袍給但以理穿上，把金鏈給他戴在頸項上，又傳令使他在國中位列第三。

我聽說你能講解，能解疑惑；現在你若能讀這文字，為我講解它的意思，就必身穿紫袍，項戴金鏈，在我國中位列第三。」

你們當謹慎辦這事，不可遲延，何必讓損害加重，使王受虧損呢？」

於是王使但以理高升，賞賜他極多的禮物，派他管理巴比倫全省，又立他為總理，掌管巴比倫所有的智慧人。但以理求王，王就派沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌管理巴比倫省的事務，只是但以理仍在朝中侍立。

因為我和我的本族被出賣了，要被剪除，殺戮，滅絕。我們若被賣為奴為婢，我就閉口不言；但我們的痛苦比起王的損失，算不得甚麼。」

因為天國好像一個王要和他僕人算賬。

所求於管家的，是要他忠心。

藉愚昧人的手寄信的，就像砍斷雙腳，喝下殘暴。

因此，耶和華－以色列的上帝說：『我確實說過，你和你祖宗的家必永遠行在我面前，但現在耶和華卻說，我絕不會這樣做。因為尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。

她的右手有長壽，左手有富貴。

他叫了自己的十個僕人來，交給他們十錠銀子，說：『你們去做生意，直到我回來。』他本國的百姓卻恨他，打發使者隨後去，說：『我們不願意這個人作我們的王。』他得了王位回來，就吩咐叫那領了銀子的僕人來，要知道他們做生意賺了多少。頭一個上來，說：『主啊，你的一錠銀子已經賺了十錠。』主人對他說：『好，我善良的僕人，你既在最小的事上忠心，你有權柄管十座城。』第二個來，說：『主啊，你的一錠銀子已經賺了五錠。』主人也對這個說：『你管五座城。』又有一個來說：『主啊！看哪，你的一錠銀子在這裏，我把它包在手巾裏存着。我向來怕你，因為你是嚴厲的人：沒有放的，也要去拿；沒有種的，也要去收。』主人對他說：『你這惡僕，我要憑你的話定你的罪。你既知道我是嚴厲的人，沒有放的也去拿，沒有種的也去收，為甚麼不把我的銀子存在銀行，等我來的時候，連本帶利都取回來呢？』於是他對那些站在旁邊的人說：『把他這一錠奪過來，給那有十錠的。』他們對他說：『主啊，他已經有十錠了。』主人說：『我告訴你們，凡有的，還要給他；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。至於我那些仇敵，不要我作他們王的，把他們拉來，在我面前殺了！』」

主人叫他來，對他說：『我聽到了，你做的是甚麼事？把你所經管的交代清楚，你不能再作我的管家了。』
