王啊，這直長起來，而長得很堅強的就是你。你的強大直增強着，強到頂天，你的權柄管到地極。

王啊，這樹就是你！你繼續強大，變得堅壯，你的權勢繼續強大，高達於天，你的權柄直到地極。

王歟、生長堅剛者爾也、爾之高大、凌乎霄漢、爾之權勢、及於地極、

斯樹即王、爾既長大、堅剛無比、高大及乎九宵、權能延乎四極、

拿单对大卫说：“你就是那人！耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘我膏立了你作以色列的王，把你从扫罗的手里救了出来，

王啊！你是万王之王，天上的神已经把国度、权柄、能力和尊荣都赐给你；也把散居在各处的世人、田野的走兽和空中的飞鸟，都交在你手里，使你管理这一切。你就是那金头。

现在我已经亲自把这一切国家都交在我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手中，连田野的走兽，我也交给他，供他奴役。列国都要服事他和他的儿子、孙子，直到他本国遭报的时候来到；那时，许多国家和大君王都要奴役他。“‘无论哪一国、哪一邦，不服事巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，不把颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下，我必用刀剑、饥荒和瘟疫去惩罚那国，直到我藉着巴比伦王的手把他们完全消灭。’这是耶和华的宣告。

因为她的罪恶滔天，神已经想起她的不义来。

因为你的慈爱伟大，高及诸天；你的信实上达云霄。

因为约翰多次告诉他：“你占有她是不合理的。”

那里有一位耶和华的先知名叫俄德，出来迎接回到撒玛利亚来的军队，对他们说：“耶和华你们列祖的神因为恼怒犹大人，才把他们交在你们手里，你们却怒气冲天，杀戮了他们。

王啊！至高的神曾把国位、权势、光荣和威严赐给你先祖尼布甲尼撒。因神所赐给他的权势，各国、各族和说各种语言的人，都在他面前战兢恐惧；他要杀谁，就杀谁；要谁活着，谁就可以活着；要提升谁，就提升谁；要贬低谁，就贬低谁。但他心高气傲、妄自尊大的时候，就从国位上被赶下来，他的尊荣也被夺去。他被赶逐，离开人群，他的心变如兽心，他和野驴同住，像牛一样吃草，身体被天露滴湿；等到他承认至高的神在世人的国中掌权，他喜欢谁，就立谁执掌国权。伯沙撒啊！你是他的子孙，你虽然知道这一切，你的心仍不谦卑，竟高抬自己，敌对天上的主，使人把他殿中的器皿拿到你面前来，你和你的大臣、妻妾、妃嫔用这些器皿喝酒；你又赞美那些不能看见、不能听见、什么都不能知道，用金、银、铜、铁、木、石所做的神，却没有把荣耀归给那手中有你的气息，和那掌管你一切命途的神。

耶和华啊！你的慈爱上及诸天，你的信实高达云霄。

他作了一个梦，梦见一个梯子立在地上，梯顶直通到天，神的众使者在梯子上下往来。

他们又说：“来，我们建一座城，造一座塔，塔顶要通天。我们要为自己立名，免得分散在全地上。”
