And all the peoples of the earth have gone down from its shade and left it.All the birds of the sky will nest on its fallen trunk, and all the animals of the field will rest on its fallen branches,

And in that the king saw an angelic watcher, a holy one, descending from heaven and saying,“ Chop down the tree and destroy it; yet leave the stump with its roots in the ground, but with a band of iron and bronze around it in the new grass of the field, let him be drenched with the dew of heaven, and let him share with the animals of the field until seven periods of time pass over him,”

But indeed the axe is already being laid at the root of the trees; so every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

Then the herald loudly proclaimed:“ To you the command is given, you peoples, nations, and populations of all languages,

Its foliage was beautiful and its fruit abundant, And in it was food for all. The animals of the field found shade under it, And the birds of the sky lived in its branches, And all living creatures fed from it.

And he said to the vineyard keeper,‘ Look! For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’But he answered and said to him,‘ Sir, leave it alone for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’ ”

and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.

We applied healing to Babylon, but she was not healed; Abandon her and let’s each go to his own country, For her judgment has reached to heaven And it rises to the clouds.

Flee from the midst of Babylon, And each of you save his life! Do not perish in her punishment, For this is the Lord’s time of vengeance; He is going to repay to her what she deserves.

And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird.

But when his heart was arrogant and his spirit became so overbearing that he behaved presumptuously, he was deposed from his royal throne, and his dignity was taken away from him.
