我就要发烈怒，行事与你们反对，又因你们的罪惩罚你们七次。

“你们行事若与我反对，不肯听从我，我就要按你们的罪加七倍降灾与你们。

我就要行事与你们反对，因你们的罪击打你们七次。

你们因这些事若还不听从我，我就要为你们的罪加七倍惩罚你们。

仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要分掳物，我要在他们身上称我的心愿。我要拔出刀来，亲手杀灭他们。’你叫风一吹，海就把他们淹没；他们如铅沉在大水之中。

“我必将这杯递在苦待你的人手中；他们曾对你说：‘你屈身，由我们践踏过去吧！’你便以背为地，好像街市，任人经过。”

众人听见这话就极其恼怒，向司提反咬牙切齿。

就变了脸色，心意惊惶，腰骨好像脱节，双膝彼此相碰，

石头重，沙土沉，愚妄人的恼怒比这两样更重。忿怒为残忍，怒气为狂澜，惟有嫉妒，谁能敌得住呢？

心骄气傲的人名叫亵慢；他行事狂妄，都出于骄傲。

王下令，人就把那些控告但以理的人，连他们的妻子儿女都带来，扔在狮子坑中。他们还没有到坑底，狮子就抓住他们，咬碎他们的骨头。

人的忿怒要成全你的荣美；人的余怒，你要禁止。

只是看不中该隐和他的供物。该隐就大大地发怒，变了脸色。耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么发怒呢？你为什么变了脸色呢？

公会的人听见就极其恼怒，想要杀他们。

又在坛上摆好了柴，把牛犊切成块子放在柴上，对众人说：“你们用四个桶盛满水，倒在燔祭和柴上”；又说：“倒第二次。”他们就倒第二次；又说：“倒第三次。”他们就倒第三次。水流在坛的四围，沟里也满了水。

你坐下，你出去，你进来，你向我发烈怒，我都知道。因你向我发烈怒，又因你狂傲的话达到我耳中，我就要用钩子钩上你的鼻子，把嚼环放在你口里，使你从你来的路转回去。’

雅各见拉班的气色向他不如从前了。

“大人，我们记得那诱惑人的还活着的时候曾说：‘三日后我要复活。’因此，请吩咐人将坟墓把守妥当，直到第三日，恐怕他的门徒来，把他偷了去，就告诉百姓说：‘他从死里复活了。’这样，那后来的迷惑比先前的更利害了！”彼拉多说：“你们有看守的兵，去吧！尽你们所能的把守妥当。”他们就带着看守的兵同去，封了石头，将坟墓把守妥当。

王便大怒，起来离开酒席往御园去了。哈曼见王定意要加罪与他，就起来，求王后以斯帖救命。

“我的朋友，我对你们说，那杀身体以后不能再做什么的，不要怕他们。我要指示你们当怕的是谁：当怕那杀了以后又有权柄丢在地狱里的。我实在告诉你们，正要怕他。

便哈达又差遣人去见亚哈说：“撒玛利亚的尘土若够跟从我的人每人捧一捧的，愿神明重重地降罚与我！”以色列王说：“你告诉他说，才顶盔贯甲的，休要像摘盔卸甲的夸口。”

王的震怒如杀人的使者；但智慧人能止息王怒。
