If you do not tell me the dream, there is only one penalty for you. You have conspired to tell me misleading and wicked things, hoping the situation will change. So then, tell me the dream, and I will know that you can interpret it for me.”

You must tell me the dream. If you don’t, you will pay for it. You have gotten together and made evil plans. You hope things will change. So you are telling me lies. But I want you to tell me what I dreamed. Then I’ll know that you can tell me what it means.”

“王所有的臣仆和各省的百姓都知道有一个定例，若未奉召见，擅入内院见王的，无论男女必被处死；除非王向他伸出金杖，不得存活。但我没有被召进去见王已经有三十天了。”

你们要指明未来的事，使我们知道你们是神明！你们或降福，或降祸，好使我们惊奇，一同观看。

他说话抵挡至高者，折磨至高者的众圣者，又改变节期和律法。众圣者要交在他手中一年、两年、又半年。

他改变时间、季节，他废王，立王；将智慧赐给智慧人，将知识赐给聪明人。

现在，你们若准备好，一听见角、号、琴、瑟、三角琴、鼓和各样乐器的声音，就俯伏拜我所造的像；若不下拜，必立刻扔在烈火的窑中，有哪一个神明能救你们脱离我的手呢？”

毗勒斯就是你的国要分裂，归给玛代人和波斯人。”

你们为几把大麦、几块饼，在我的百姓中亵渎我，对那肯听谎言的百姓说谎言，让不该死的人死，让不该活的人活。’”

诚实的嘴唇永远坚立；说谎的舌头只存片时。

“你，人子啊，要面向你百姓中随心说预言的妇女们，说预言攻击她们，

于是以色列王召集先知，约有四百人，问他们说：“我可以上去攻打基列的拉末吗？还是不要上去呢？”他们说：“可以上去，因为主必将那城交在王的手里。”

我使虚谎的预兆失效，愚弄占卜的人，使智慧人退后，使他的知识变为愚拙；

他们看见的是虚假，是谎诈的占卜，说是耶和华说的；其实耶和华并没有差遣他们，他们却指望那话必站立得住。

玛代人大流士年六十二岁，取了迦勒底国。

耶和华问他：‘用什么方法呢？’他说：‘我要出去，在他众先知的口中成为谎言的灵。’耶和华说：‘这样，你去引诱他，必能成功。你出去，照样做吧！’

我们不像许多人，把神的道当商品贩卖，而是由于真诚，而是受命于神，在神面前凭着基督讲道。
