If you do not tell me the dream, there is only one penalty for you. You have conspired to tell me misleading and wicked things, hoping the situation will change. So then, tell me the dream, and I will know that you can interpret it for me.”

You must tell me the dream. If you don’t, you will pay for it. You have gotten together and made evil plans. You hope things will change. So you are telling me lies. But I want you to tell me what I dreamed. Then I’ll know that you can tell me what it means.”

『王的一切臣僕和各省的人民都知道有一條法令：無論男女，若不蒙召就進入內院去見王的，除非王向他（她）伸出金杖，使他（她）得以活着，一律須被處死：現在我，我沒有蒙召去進見王、已有三十天了。』

把此後要來的事說明說明！好叫我們知道你們是神；啊，降福或降禍吧，使我們彷徨張望，同時又懼怕呀！

他必說話頂撞至高者；必折磨至高者之聖民；想要改變節期和禮節規矩；聖民必被交付於他的手、一個時期、兩個時期、半個時期。

是他使時代和時期改變的；他廢王，他立王，他將智慧賜給智慧人，將知識賜給聰明人；

如今你們若準備得好，甚麼時候你們聽見號角、簫笛、琵琶、琴、瑟、風笛、和各樣樂器的聲音，若俯伏向我所造的像下拜，卻還可以；若不下拜，就必須立刻被扔在烈火燃燒着的窰中；試問有甚麼樣的神能解救你們脫離我的手呢？』

「毘勒斯」即是：「你的國崩裂了、歸與瑪代和波斯人。」』

你們為了幾捧大麥、為了幾塊餅、在我人民中間褻瀆了我，對我這些愛聽謊言的人民用你們的謊言殺死不該死的人，救活了不該活的人。

說實話的嘴脣永遠立定；虛假的舌頭、不過眨眼間。

『你呢、人子啊，你要板着臉盯着你人民的婦女、就是那些隨着自己心意發神言狂的人；你要傳神言攻擊她們，

於是以色列王集合了神言人約四百位，問他們說：『我去對基列的拉末交戰可以麼？還是要忍着不去呢？』他們說：『你可以上去，主一定將那地交在王手裏。』

是那使信口胡謅者的兆頭無效的，使占卜者變成了狂妄人，使智慧人退後，使他們的智識變為愚拙的，

這些人所說的是虛謊的異象、是謊詐的占卜；他們說：「這是永恆主發神諭說的」，其實永恆主並沒有差遣他們，他們倒指望那話能應驗呢！

瑪代人大利烏就取了迦勒底國；那時大利烏約六十二歲。

他說：「我要出去，在他的眾神言人口中做個虛假之靈。」永恆主說：「這樣你就能夠引誘，並且能成功；你出去這樣行吧。」

我們不像許多人為利而淆亂上帝之道；我們乃是出於純潔、乃是出於上帝、在基督裏當着上帝面前說話的。
