至於夢之所以被重複、兩次給法老夢見呢，那是因為這事乃由上帝立定；上帝必趕快作成。

因為永恆主你們的上帝、他是萬神之神、萬主之主、至大、至有能力至可畏懼的上帝；他不徇情面，也不受賄賂。

當那日、我必使耶路撒冷向萬族之民成為一塊沉重的石頭；凡扛起它的必受重傷。地上列國卻要聚集攏來攻擊它。

我看了以後，就起來、對顯貴的人、對官長和其餘的人民說：『不要怕他們；要記得主是大而可畏懼，他要為你們的弟兄、兒女、妻子、家業而爭戰。』

你在觀看着，忽見有一塊石頭、不是人手鑿出的、撞擊了那像半鐵半瓦的腳上，把腳砸碎了。於是鐵、瓦、銅、銀、金、都一同砸得粉碎，如同夏天禾場上的粃糠渣兒；風把它們颳散，原處便無可尋。但那擊碎這像的石頭卻變成了一座大山佔滿了全地。

當那些王在位的日子，天上的上帝必另立一國、永不被滅；其政權也不留歸別族的人；它卻要砸碎而消滅那一切國；它必存立到永遠；

我們交戰的武器並不是屬肉體的，乃是有屬神之能力的；能夠攻倒堅固的營壘，將人的思想，以及一切樹起來、阻礙人認識上帝的高障、都攻倒了；又擄取了一切心意、使它聽從基督。

因為我知道永恆主至大，知道我們的主超乎萬神之上。

『現在呢、我們的上帝啊，至大、至有能力、至可畏懼、守約守堅愛的上帝啊，我們、我們的王和首領、我們的祭司和神言人、我們的列祖和你的眾民、從亞述列王的日子直到今日所遭遇的一切艱難困苦、求你不要看為小事。

天地會過去，我的話斷不能過去。

所以你要把所看見的、就是現在的事、和此後必須發生的事、都寫下來。

這些事以後我觀看，見有個門在天上開着；我所聽見初次發出的聲音、像號筒和我說話的、就說：『你上這裏來，我要將此後必須發生的事指示你。』

我看見有一位天使站在日頭中、向天頂點上一切飛着的鳥大聲喊着說：『你們來，聚集來赴上帝的大筵席，

看哪，上帝至大、我們不能知；他的年數、不能測度。

耶穌被法利賽人詰問、上帝的國幾時要來到，就回答他們說：『上帝國之來臨，並不是以守候窺察而看到的。

於是但以理便進去見王所派要除滅巴比倫博士的亞略，這樣對他說：『不要除滅巴比倫的博士；請領我進到王面前，我便將夢的解析向王講明白。』

耶穌回答他們說：『我、也要問你們一件事；你們若把那事告訴我，我就告訴你們我仗着甚麼權柄作這些事：
