接著是堅如鐵的第四國，能擊垮、打碎列國，正如鐵能擊垮、打碎一切。

第四国，必坚壮如铁，铁能打碎克制百物，又能压碎一切，那国也必打碎压制列国。

第四国必坚壮如铁，就像铁能打碎砸碎一切；铁怎样压碎一切，那国也必照样打碎压碎。

然後會有第四個國，它必強硬如鐵。鐵怎樣砸碎、擊破一切，怎樣壓碎一切，這國也照樣砸碎、壓碎一切。

復有其四之國、堅剛似鐵、夫鐵能服百物而碎之、此國亦必行破壞如鐵然、

最後一國、剛強若鐵、鐵能服百物而碎之、眾國皆為所破、

其後又有一國、即第四國、剛強若鐵、鐵能破百物而碎之、其國將破眾國而碎之、如鐵之破百物、

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron— for iron breaks and smashes everything— and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others.

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom. It will be as strong as iron. Iron breaks and smashes everything to pieces. And the fourth kingdom will crush and break all the others.

And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth one, as strong as iron. That kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires, just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes.

A fourth kingdom will be as strong as iron; for iron crushes and shatters everything, and like iron that smashes, it will crush and smash all the others.

The fourth kingdom will be strong as iron, because iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things; and as iron that crushes all these, it will break in pieces and crush.

此後，我在夜間的異象中看見第四隻獸，恐怖可怕，極其強壯，用大鐵牙吞吃、咬碎獵物，用腳踐踏所剩的。這獸與前三隻獸不同，牠有十個角。

「那時，我想知道關於第四獸的事，牠與其餘三獸不同，極其可怕，有鐵牙銅爪，吞吃、咬碎獵物，用腳踐踏所剩的。我也想知道有關牠頭上的十角及後來長出的小角的事。這小角取代了三角，它有眼和說狂言的口，比其他的角更強大。我看見這小角與聖民爭戰，並佔了上風。後來亙古長存的至高者來為祂的聖民伸冤。聖民擁有國度的時候到了。「那位侍立一旁的說，『第四隻獸是指世上將興起的第四個國，與其他各國不同，牠將吞吃、踐踏、咬碎天下。十角是指這國中將興起十個王，後來又興起一王，與先前的王不同，他將制伏三個王。他必褻瀆至高者，迫害至高者的聖民，試圖改變節期和律法。聖民將被交在他手中三年半。然而，審判者將坐下來審判，奪去並永遠廢除他的權柄。

「北方王必任意妄為，自高自大，自以為超越一切神明，肆意詆譭萬神之神。他必亨通，一直到上帝發烈怒的日子結束。因為所定的必然成就。他不尊崇他祖先的神明，也不尊崇婦女們愛慕的神明或其他任何神明，因為他自認為超越一切。他反倒祭拜他祖先不認識的堡壘之神，向它獻上金銀寶石及貴重的禮物。他必靠外族神明的幫助攻打堅固的堡壘，將尊榮賜給順從他的人，派他們治理民眾，分給他們土地作獎賞。「到了末後，南方王必與北方王交戰。北方王必率領戰車、騎兵和大批戰船攻擊他，又如洪水般橫掃列國。他必侵入佳美之地，殺死成千上萬的人，只有以東、摩押及亞捫人的首領得以逃脫。他必攻擊列國，埃及也無法倖免。他必掌管埃及的金銀財寶，利比亞人和古實人必歸順他。但從東方和北方傳來的消息必令他震驚，他必大怒，出兵殺戮、毀滅許多人。他必在海和榮美的聖山之間搭起他宮殿般的帳幕。但他必滅亡，無人相助。

耶和華說：「大馬士革人三番四次地犯罪，我必不收回對他們的懲罰，因為他們用打糧食的鐵器蹂躪基列。

六十二個七之後，受膏者必被殺害，一無所有。另有一王要興起，他的臣民要毀滅這城和聖所。結局必如洪水沖來，戰爭將持續到末了，到處一片荒涼——這已經註定。

鐵的小腿和半鐵半泥的腳。

誰能折斷來自北方之敵的鐵拳銅臂呢？

如果讓祂這樣繼續下去，所有的人都會信祂，那時羅馬人一定會來奪取我們的土地，擄掠我們的人民。」

他勢力強大，卻不是靠自己的力量。他必帶來可怕的毀滅，而且凡事亨通，他必毀滅強者和聖民。
