The king then asked Daniel( whose name was also Belteshazzar),“ Are you able to make known to me the dream that I saw, as well as its interpretation?”

王就问又名伯提沙撒的但以理：“你能将我做的梦和梦的意思告诉我吗？”

王问称为伯提沙撒的但以理说：“你能向我说明我所见的梦和梦的意思吗？”

王问那称为伯提沙撒的但以理，说：“难道你能把我做的梦和梦的释义显明给我吗？”

王問稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「你能將我所做的夢和夢的講解告訴我嗎？」

王對那稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「你能將我所做的夢和夢的解釋告訴我嗎？」

王對那稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「你能將我所做的夢和夢的解釋告訴我嗎？」

王就問又名伯提沙撒的但以理：「你能將我做的夢和夢的意思告訴我嗎？」

王問稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：“你能向我說明我所見的夢和夢的意思嗎？”

王應聲問但以理、但以理又名叫伯提沙撒；王問他說：『你能將我所作的夢和夢的解析告訴我麼？』

王問那稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「難道你能把我做的夢和夢的釋義顯明給我嗎？」

王謂稱伯提沙撒之但以理曰、我所得之夢與其解、爾能告我乎、

但以理又名伯底沙撒王問曰、我夢與兆、爾能詳述乎。

王問稱伯提沙撒之但以理曰、我所作之夢、與其兆、爾能示我乎、

The king asked Daniel( also called Belteshazzar),“ Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it?”

Nebuchadnezzar spoke to Daniel, who was also called Belteshazzar. The king asked him,“ Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream? And can you tell me what it means?”

The king declared to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream that I have seen and its interpretation?”

The king said to Daniel( also known as Belteshazzar),“ Is this true? Can you tell me what my dream was and what it means?”

The king said in reply to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to tell me the dream I had and its interpretation?”

The king said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen and its interpretation?”

The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?”

The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

The king said in reply to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to tell me the dream I had and its interpretation?”

The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name[ was] Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

The king answered Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?”

But the overseer of the court officials renamed them. He gave Daniel the name Belteshazzar, Hananiah he named Shadrach, Mishael he named Meshach, and Azariah he named Abednego.

Thus there was found in this man Daniel, whom the king renamed Belteshazzar, an extraordinary spirit, knowledge, and skill to interpret dreams, solve riddles, and decipher knotty problems. Now summon Daniel, and he will disclose the interpretation.”

Later Daniel entered( whose name is Belteshazzar after the name of my god, and in whom there is a spirit of the holy gods). I recounted the dream for him as well,

However, I have heard that you are able to provide interpretations and to decipher knotty problems. Now if you are able to read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, you will wear purple and have a golden collar around your neck and be third ruler in the kingdom.”

Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ I had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard about you, that you can interpret dreams.”

But Saul replied to David,“ You aren’t able to go against this Philistine and fight him! You’re just a boy! He has been a warrior from his youth!”

The king told them,“ I have had a dream, and I am anxious to understand the dream.”The wise men replied to the king:[ What follows is in Aramaic]“ O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will disclose its interpretation.”The king replied to the wise men,“ My decision is firm. If you do not inform me of both the dream and its interpretation, you will be dismembered and your homes reduced to rubble!But if you can disclose the dream and its interpretation, you will receive from me gifts, a reward, and considerable honor. So disclose to me the dream and its interpretation!”They again replied,“ Let the king inform us of the dream; then we will disclose its interpretation.”

“ This is the dream that I, King Nebuchadnezzar, saw. Now you, Belteshazzar, declare its interpretation, for none of the wise men in my kingdom are able to make known to me the interpretation. But you can do so, for a spirit of the holy gods is in you.”Then Daniel( whose name is also Belteshazzar) was upset for a brief time; his thoughts were alarming him. The king said,“ Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream and its interpretation alarm you.” But Belteshazzar replied,“ Sir, if only the dream were for your enemies and its interpretation applied to your adversaries!
