But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

“那时，保佑你百姓的天使长米迦勒必站起来，并且有大艰难，自从有国以来直到此时，未曾有过这样的事。那时，你的百姓凡记录在册上的，必得拯救。

天使长米迦勒为摩西的尸首与魔鬼争辩的时候，尚且不敢用毁谤的话谴责他，只说：“主责备你吧！”

天上发生了争战。米迦勒同他的使者与龙作战，龙同它的使者也起来应战，

他说：“你知道我为什么到你这里来吗？现在我要回去与波斯的领袖争战，我去了之后，看哪，希腊的领袖必来。但我要将那记录在真理之书上的话告诉你。除了你们的天使米迦勒之外，没有人帮助我抵挡他们。”

耶稣已经到天上去，在神的右边，众天使、有权柄的、有权能的都服从了他。

你们在他里面也已经成为丰盛。他是所有执政掌权者的元首。

因为我们的争战并不是对抗有血有肉的人，而是对抗那些执政的、掌权的、管辖这幽暗世界的，以及天空灵界的恶魔。

所以我们很想到你们那里去。我—保罗有一两次要去，只是撒但阻挡了我们。

天使指给我看：约书亚大祭司站在耶和华的使者面前，撒但站在约书亚的右边控告他。耶和华向撒但说：“撒但哪，耶和华责备你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华责备你！这不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

那地的人就在犹大百姓建造的时候，使他们的手发软，扰乱他们。从波斯王居鲁士年间，直到波斯王大流士在位的时候，那些人贿赂谋士，要破坏他们的计划。亚哈随鲁在位，他的国度刚开始的时候，他们上书控告犹大和耶路撒冷的居民。

于是，在耶路撒冷神殿的工程就停止了，直停到波斯王大流士第二年。
