他说：“但以理啊，不要惧怕！因为自从第一日你立志要明白，又在你神面前刻苦自己，你的话已蒙应允；我就是因你的话而来。

他说：“但以理啊，不要怕，从你在上帝面前谦卑地恳求明白这异象的第一天，你的祷告已蒙垂听。我是来答复你的。

他又对我说：“但以理啊！不要惧怕，因为自从你第一天决心要明白这些事，又在你的神面前谦卑自己，你祷告的话已蒙垂听了；我就是因你祷告的话而来的。

他又对我说：“但以理啊！你不要害怕，因为自从你用心领悟这事、在你的神面前谦卑的第一天起，你的祷告就蒙垂听了；我是因你的祷告而来的。

他又對我說：「但以理啊！你不要害怕，因為自從你用心領悟這事、在你的神面前謙卑的第一天起，你的禱告就蒙垂聽了；我是因你的禱告而來的。

又謂我曰、但以理歟、勿懼、自爾初日、決志欲明斯事、自卑於爾上帝前、爾言升聞矣、我因爾言而至、

彼告我曰、但以理勿懼、自爾詣上帝前、卑以自牧、欲留心知未來事、上帝聽爾所祈、遣我就爾、

又告我曰、但以理、勿懼、自初日爾專心求明、於爾天主前刻以自苦、爾言升聞於上、我因爾之禱言、奉遣而來、

Then he continued,“ Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

He continued,“ Do not be afraid, Daniel. You decided to get more understanding. You made yourself humble as you worshiped your God. Since the first day you did those things, your words were heard. I have come to give you an answer.

Then he said to me,“ Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.

Then he said,“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.

“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel,” he said to me,“ for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard. I have come because of your prayers.

Then he said to me,“ Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.

Then he said to me,“ Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thy heart to understand, and to humble thyself before thy God, thy words were heard: and I am come for thy words’ sake.

“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel,” he said to me,“ for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard. I have come because of your prayers.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

Then he said to me,“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel, for from the very first day you applied your mind to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come in response to your words.

Then he said to me,“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come for your words’ sake.

Cornelius answered:“ Three days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before meand said,‘ Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. (niv)

“ Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said.“ Peace! Be strong now; be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said,“ Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.” (niv)

While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for his holy hill—while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice.He instructed me and said to me,“ Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding.As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision: (niv)

say to those with fearful hearts,“ Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” (niv)

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision:“ Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” (niv)

The angel said to the women,“ Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. (niv)

One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said,“ Cornelius!”Cornelius stared at him in fear.“ What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered,“ Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. (niv)

Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.“ If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, (niv)

“ Don’t be alarmed,” he said.“ You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. (niv)

So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:“ Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, (niv)

It is a day of sabbath rest, and you must deny yourselves; it is a lasting ordinance. (niv)

Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. (niv)

Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. (niv)
