所見之異象、論其日數、真實無妄、爾鈐以印、日久必應、

大利烏在位之時、及巴西王古列御國之際、但以理享其亨通焉。

宦官長為易其名、稱但以理曰伯底沙撒、稱哈拿尼亞曰沙得臘、稱米沙利曰米煞、稱亞薩哩亞曰、亞伯尼坷、

上帝賦四子以聰明智慧、文字靡不諳通、但以理備悉異象、善解夢兆、

有語我者曰、羔婚必肆筵設席、凡見召者、則蒙福祉、當筆之於書、又曰、此乃上帝所言、真而不偽、

但以理曰、大賚我所不取、爾賞可畀他人、我必讀斯文、而解其義、

爾但以理謹秘斯書、鈐之以印、末期既屆、眾將察之、益其識見、

上載古列王元年、降詔、詔曰、咨爾有眾、可於耶路撒冷建殿、奉事上帝、獻祭之所、宜基深址固、所建室高廣各六丈。

乃得涖至、以末期之事、爾民所遭者、指示於爾、所見異象、久必有應、

召古列為我牧伯、以成我志。我使彼言耶路撒冷必得建造、又言聖殿、必得肇基。耶和華告受膏古列曰、我左右爾、使列國賓服、使諸王荏弱、大啟邑門、不能閉拒。

上帝定此、將速成之、故使法老復夢。

但以理往哉、斯言秘密、俱鈐以印、以俟末期之至、

主限時日、升降君王、使賢者有智、哲者明慧、

耶和華諭耶利米之預言必應、故巴西王古列元年、耶和華感動古列之心、詔告天下、曰、巴西王古列云、天上之上帝耶和華、以天下列國予我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷建殿、以奉其名、爾乃遴選之民、誰欲建斯殿、則可往、望其上帝耶和華祐焉。耶和華諭耶利米預言必應、故巴西國王古列元年、耶和華感古列王之心、詔告天下云、巴西王古列曰、天上上帝耶和華、以天下列國賜我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷建殿、以奉其名。

昔尼布甲尼撒在耶路撒冷、遷耶和華殿之器皿、置於己上帝之殿、今巴西王古列、命司庫之吏密哩撻、攜器皿出、依其數、予猶大伯設巴薩、

其名但以理、王稱之曰伯底沙撒、心靈性敏、能解夢兆、能明隱語、剖析疑義、今可召之、必能解其意焉。

告我曰、但以理我來賜爾聰明智慧、爾蒙眷顧、始禱之時、我奉命蒞臨、俾爾知所見異象之意、

既而但以理至、彼循我上帝之名、稱曰伯底沙撒、為至聖上帝之神所感、余即以夢告之曰、

今我涖臨、以確然之事、指示於爾、厥後在巴西國更有三王崛興焉、後起之君、尤為富饒、因其貨財眾多、舉兵以攻雅番、

爾必瘖不能語、至事成之日、以爾不信我言、時至必應、

聞鳥來河濱、有聲呼云、加伯列、當以異象之意、明示斯人、

畀金於木工石工、畀餱糧油膏與西頓推羅人、使運柏香木、自利巴嫩至約帕海濱、循巴西王古列之諭。
