At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.

你們要事奉耶和華－你們的神，他必賜福給你的糧食和水，也必從你中間除去疾病。

一個義人所有的雖少，強過許多惡人的富餘。

耶和華所賜的福使人富足，並不加上憂慮。

耶穌卻回答說：「經上記着：『人活着，不是單靠食物，乃是靠神口裏所出的一切話。』」

萬軍之耶和華說：「你們若不聽，若不放在心上，將榮耀歸給我的名，我就使詛咒臨到你們，使你們的福分變為詛咒；其實我已經詛咒了你們的福分，因你們不把誡命放在心上。

「你若留心聽從耶和華－你神的話，謹守遵行他的一切誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，他必使你超乎地上的萬國之上。你若聽從耶和華－你神的話，這一切的福氣必臨到你身上，追隨你：你在城裏必蒙福，在田間也必蒙福。你身所生的，你地所產的，你牲畜所生的，牛犢、羔羊，都必蒙福。你的筐子和你的揉麵盆都必蒙福。你出也蒙福，入也蒙福。「耶和華必使那起來攻擊你的仇敵在你面前潰敗。他們從一條路來攻擊你，必在你面前從七條路逃跑。在你倉房裏，以及你手所做的一切，耶和華必發令賜福給你。耶和華－你神也必在所賜你的地上賜福給你。你若謹守耶和華－你神的誡命，遵行他的道，他必照他向你所起的誓立你為自己神聖的子民。地上的萬民見你歸在耶和華的名下，就必懼怕你。在耶和華向你列祖起誓應許賜你的土地上，他必使你身所生的，牲畜所生的，地所產的，都豐富有餘。耶和華必為你敞開天上的寶庫，按時降雨在你的地上。他必賜福你手裏所做的一切。你必借給許多國家，卻不必去借貸。你若聽從耶和華－你神的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，謹守遵行，耶和華就必使你作首不作尾，居上不居下，只要你不偏左右，不背離我今日所吩咐你的一切話，也不隨從別神，事奉它們。」

耶穌拿着這五個餅和兩條魚，望着天祝福，擘開餅，遞給門徒，擺在眾人面前，也把那兩條魚分給眾人。他們都吃，並且吃飽了。

你們盼望多得，看哪，所得的卻少；你們收到家中，我就吹去。這是為甚麼呢？因為我的殿荒涼，你們各人卻只為自己的房屋奔走。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

你們撒的種多，收的卻少；你們吃，卻不得飽；喝，卻不得足；穿衣服，卻不得暖；領工錢的，領了工錢卻裝入有破洞的袋中。

有一個人從巴力‧沙利沙來，帶着初熟果子的食物、二十個大麥做的餅和新麥穗，裝在袋子裏送給神人。神人說：「把這些給大家吃。」僕人說：「這些豈可擺在一百人面前呢？」以利沙說：「你只管給大家吃吧！因為耶和華如此說，他們必吃了，還有剩下的。」僕人就擺在他們面前，他們吃了，還有剩下，正如耶和華所說的。
