For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

So even though I am away from you in body, I am with you in spirit. And I am glad to see that you are controlling yourselves. I am happy that your faith in Christ is so strong.

你们要警醒，在信仰上坚定不移，做勇敢刚强的人。

弟兄姊妹，我们暂时与你们分离，心灵却与你们在一起。我们非常渴望见到你们。

你们要以坚固的信心抵挡它，要知道世界各地的弟兄姊妹在遭受同样的苦难。

现在，我虽然身在远方，心却在你们那里。我已经审判了做这事的人，就像亲自在场一样。你们奉我们主耶稣的名聚会时，我的心并我们主耶稣的权能也与你们同在。

但无论做什么事，都要按规矩，有次序。

所以，我亲爱的弟兄姊妹，你们务要坚定不移，总要竭力做主的工作，因为你们知道自己在主里面的辛勤付出不会白费。

如果我们将起初的信念坚持到底，便在基督里有份了。

因此，亲爱的弟兄姊妹，你们既然预先知道了这些事，就应该提防，不要让那些不法之徒用错谬的理论引诱你们，使你们失去原本坚固的立场。相反，你们要在我们的主和救主耶稣基督的恩典中不断长进，越来越认识祂。愿荣耀归给祂，从现在直到永远。阿们！

也不会像自己的祖先那样顽梗叛逆，对上帝不忠，心怀二意。

他们不忠于祂，也不信守祂的约。

得知你们靠着主坚定不移，我们现在感到振奋。

我们有这盼望作我们灵魂的锚，既安稳又可靠，一直通往圣幕里面的至圣所。

他们献上大量的燔祭，以及很多平安祭祭牲的脂肪和与燔祭同献的奠祭。从此，耶和华殿里的事奉恢复了。

如果有人饥饿，可以在家中先吃，免得你们聚会的时候自招审判。至于其余的事，等我到了以后再安排。

他们都一心遵守使徒的教导，一起团契、掰饼、祷告。

拿俄米见路得坚决要跟她走，就不再劝阻她了。
