he builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord builds his palace high in the heavens. He lays its foundation on the earth. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

在水中立楼阁的栋梁，用云彩为车辇，藉着风的翅膀而行，

要寻求那造昴星和参星，使死荫变为晨光，使白日变为黑夜，命海水来浇在地上的（耶和华是他的名）。

那创山、造风、将心意指示人、使晨光变为幽暗、脚踏在地之高处的，他的名是耶和华万军之神。”

他从楼阁中浇灌山岭；因他作为的功效，地就丰足。

天地万物都造齐了。

将地立在根基上，使地永不动摇。你用深水遮盖地面，犹如衣裳；诸水高过山岭。

神对摩西说：“我是自有永有的”；又说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘那自有的打发我到你们这里来。’”神又对摩西说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘耶和华你们祖宗的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神，打发我到你们这里来。’耶和华是我的名，直到永远；这也是我的纪念，直到万代。

耶和华说：你们怎么不惧怕我呢？我以永远的定例，用沙为海的界限，水不得越过。因此，你们在我面前还不战兢吗？波浪虽然翻腾，却不能逾越；虽然砰訇，却不能过去。

当挪亚六百岁，二月十七日那一天，大渊的泉源都裂开了，天上的窗户也敞开了，四十昼夜降大雨在地上。正当那日，挪亚和他三个儿子闪、含、雅弗，并挪亚的妻子和三个儿妇，都进入方舟。他们和百兽，各从其类，一切牲畜，各从其类，爬在地上的昆虫，各从其类，一切禽鸟，各从其类，都进入方舟。凡有血肉、有气息的活物，都一对一对地到挪亚那里，进入方舟。凡有血肉进入方舟的，都是有公有母，正如神所吩咐挪亚的。耶和华就把他关在方舟里头。洪水泛滥在地上四十天，水往上涨，把方舟从地上漂起。水势浩大，在地上大大地往上涨，方舟在水面上漂来漂去。水势在地上极其浩大，天下的高山都淹没了。
