he builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord builds his palace high in the heavens. He lays its foundation on the earth. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

The Lord’s home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

你在水上立起你樓閣的棟梁；你以雲彩為戰車；乘駕風的翅膀而行。

那創造昴星和參星，把幽暗變為黎明，把白日轉為黑夜；又吩咐海水，把海水倒在地上的；耶和華就是他的名。

看哪！他造了山，創造了風，把他的心意告訴人；他使晨光變為黑暗，他的腳踏在地的高處，耶和華萬軍的神就是他的名。

你從自己的樓閣中澆灌群山，因你所作的事的果效，大地就豐足。

這樣，天地萬物都造齊了。

你把大地堅立在根基上，使地永永遠遠不動搖。你用深水像衣服一般覆蓋大地，使眾水高過群山。

神回答摩西：“我是‘自有永有者’。”又說：“你要對以色列人這樣說：‘那自有者派我到你們這裡來。’”神又對摩西說：“你要對以色列人這樣說：‘耶和華你們祖宗的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神，差遣我到你們這裡來；這就是我永久的名字，也是世世代代中我被記念的名字。’

‘你們連我都不懼怕嗎？在我面前你們也不戰兢嗎？’這是耶和華的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永遠的界限，海就不能越過；波浪翻騰，卻不能漫過；怒濤澎湃，仍無法逾越。

挪亞六百歲那一年，二月十七日那一天，所有大淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的窗戶都敞開了。大雨傾盆下在地上，一連四十晝夜。就在那一天，挪亞帶著他的兒子閃、含、雅弗，以及他的妻子和三個兒媳，一同進了方舟。他們一家，所有走獸各從其類，所有牲畜各從其類，所有在地上爬行的動物各從其類，所有有羽有翼的飛禽各從其類，有生命、有氣息的，都是一對一對來到挪亞那裡，進入方舟。那些進去的，都是有生命的，一公一母進去，是照著神吩咐挪亞的。耶和華跟著就把方舟關起來。洪水就臨到地上四十天；水不斷上漲，把方舟升起，於是方舟就從地上浮起來。水勢甚大，在地上大大上漲，方舟就在水面上漂來漂去。水勢在地面上越來越大，天下所有的高山都被淹沒了。
