“凡以色列家中的人，或是寄居在他们中间的外人，若吃什么血，我必向那吃血的人变脸，把他从民中剪除。

先前耶和华怎样喜悦善待你们，使你们众多，也要照样喜悦毁灭你们，使你们灭亡；并且你们从所要进去得的地上必被拔除。耶和华必使你们分散在万民中，从地这边到地那边，你必在那里侍奉你和你列祖素不认识、木头石头的神。在那些国中，你必不得安逸，也不得落脚之地；耶和华却使你在那里心中跳动，眼目失明，精神消耗。

围困城的日子满了，你要将三分之一在城中用火焚烧，将三分之一在城的四围用刀砍碎，将三分之一任风吹散；我也要拔刀追赶。

耶和华的眼目遍察全地，要显大能帮助向他心存诚实的人。你这事行得愚昧；此后，你必有争战的事。”

我要眷顾他们，使他们得好处，领他们归回这地。我也要建立他们，必不拆毁；栽植他们，并不拔出。

“你去告诉古实人以伯米勒说，万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：我说降祸不降福的话必临到这城，到那时必在你面前成就了。

至于你们剩下的人，我要使他们在仇敌之地心惊胆怯。叶子被风吹的响声，要追赶他们；他们要逃避，像人逃避刀剑，无人追赶，却要跌倒。无人追赶，他们要彼此撞跌，像在刀剑之前。你们在仇敌面前也必站立不住。你们要在列邦中灭亡；仇敌之地要吞吃你们。你们剩下的人必因自己的罪孽和祖宗的罪孽在仇敌之地消灭。

耶和华说：“这全地的人，三分之二必剪除而死，三分之一仍必存留。我要使这三分之一经火，熬炼他们，如熬炼银子；试炼他们，如试炼金子。他们必求告我的名，我必应允他们。我要说：‘这是我的子民。’他们也要说：‘耶和华是我们的神。’”
