“虽然他们挖透阴间，我的手必从那里拉出他们；虽然他们爬到天上，我必从那里拿下他们；

即使他们挖洞钻进阴间，我也要把他们揪出来；即使他们爬上高天，我也要把他们拉下来；

如果他们下到阴间，就是在那里，我的手必把他们揪上来；如果他们升到天上，就是在那里，我必把他们拉下来；

『即使他們挖到了陰間，就是從那裏、我的手也必把他們捉出來；即使他們爬上天去，就是從那裏、我也必將他們拿下來。

彼雖穿穴入於陰府、我手必取之、雖攀至高天、我必降之、

雖入陰府、我必取之、雖升天堂、我將降之、

雖掘至示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓我手必取之由彼、雖升於天、我必降之由彼、

Though they dig down to the depths below, from there my hand will take them. Though they climb up to the heavens above, from there I will bring them down.

They might dig down deep. But my powerful hand will take them out of there. They might climb up to the heavens. But I will bring them down from there.

“ If they dig into Sheol, from there shall my hand take them; if they climb up to heaven, from there I will bring them down.

“ Even if they dig down to the place of the dead, I will reach down and pull them up. Even if they climb up into the heavens, I will bring them down.

Even if they could dig down into the netherworld, my hand would pull them up from there. Even if they could climb up to heaven, I would drag them down from there.

Though thou mount on high as the eagle, and though thy nest be set among the stars, I will bring thee down from thence, saith Jehovah.

Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall destroyers come unto her, saith Jehovah.

As for thy terribleness, the pride of thy heart hath deceived thee, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith Jehovah.

And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.

And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north;I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit.They that see thee shall gaze at thee, they shall consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
