And He said,“ What do you see, Amos?” And I said,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me,“ The end has come for My people Israel. I will not spare them any longer.

“ What do you see, Amos?” he asked.“ A basket of ripe fruit,” I answered. Then the Lord said to me,“ The time is ripe for my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.

“ What do you see, Amos?” he asked.“ A basket of ripe fruit,” I replied. Then the Lord said to me,“ The time is ripe for my people Israel. I will no longer spare them.

And he said,“ Amos, what do you see?” And I said,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me,“ The end has come upon my people Israel; I will never again pass by them.

“ What do you see, Amos?” he asked. I replied,“ A basket full of ripe fruit.” Then the Lord said,“ Like this fruit, Israel is ripe for punishment! I will not delay their punishment again.

He asked me,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A basket of summer fruit.” The LORD said to me,“ The end has come for my people Israel; I will no longer spare them.

And He said,“ Amos, what do you see?” So I said,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me:“ The end has come upon My people Israel; I will not pass by them anymore.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said Jehovah unto me, The end is come upon my people Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

He asked me,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A basket of summer fruit.” The Lord said to me,“ The end has come for My people Israel; I will no longer spare them.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

He said,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then the LORD said to me,“ The end has come for my people Israel! I will no longer overlook their sins.

He said,“ Amos, what do you see?” I said,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then Yahweh said to me,“ The end has come on my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

And the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Amos?” And I said,“ A plumb line.” Then the Lord said,“ Behold I am about to put a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel. I will not spare them any longer.

They hunted our steps So that we could not walk in our streets; Our end drew near, Our days were finished For our end had come.

After Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had taken into exile Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the officials of Judah with the craftsmen and metalworkers from Jerusalem and had brought them to Babylon, the Lord showed me: behold, two baskets of figs placed before the temple of the Lord.One basket had very good figs, like first ripe figs, and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten due to rottenness.Then the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said,“ Figs: the good figs are very good, and the bad ones, very bad, which cannot be eaten due to rottenness.”

Woe to me! For I am Like harvests of summer fruit, like gleanings of grapes. There is not a cluster of grapes left to eat, Nor an early fig, which I crave.

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said,“ I see a branch of an almond tree.”Then the Lord said to me,“ You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying,“ What do you see?” And I said,“ I see a boiling pot, facing away from the north.”Then the Lord said to me,“ Out of the north the evil will be unleashed on all the inhabitants of the land.

And the fading flower of its glorious beauty, Which is at the head of the fertile valley, Will be like the first ripe fig prior to the summer, Which one sees, And as soon as it is in his hand, He swallows it.

“ And you, son of man, this is what the Lord God says to the land of Israel:‘ An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land.Now the end is upon you, for I will send My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and bring all your abominations upon you.

yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. The entire house of Israel certainly is stubborn and obstinate.

Moreover, He said to me,“ Son of man, take into your heart all My words which I will speak to you and listen closely.

And he said to me,“ What do you see?” And I said,“ I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.”

Now as for me, behold, I am going to stay in Mizpah to stand for you before the Chaldeans who come to us; but as for you, gather wine, summer fruit, and oil, and put them in your storage vessels, and live in your cities that you have taken over.”

Then He said to me,“ Do you see, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each man in the rooms of his carved images? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has abandoned the land.’ ”

“ Then it shall be, when you enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and live in it,that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground which you bring in from your land that the Lord your God gives you, and you shall put it in a basket and go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to establish His name.And you shall go to the priest who is in office at that time and say to him,‘ I declare today to the Lord my God that I have entered the land which the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.’Then the priest shall take the basket from your hand and set it before the altar of the Lord your God.

The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule on their own authority; And My people love it this way! But what will you do when the end comes?

Now when David had gone on a little beyond the summit, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him with a team of saddled donkeys, and on them were two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred cakes of raisins, a hundred summer fruits, and a jug of wine.And the king said to Ziba,“ Why do you have these?” And Ziba said,“ The donkeys are for the king’s household to ride, the bread and summer fruit are for the young men to eat, and the wine, for whoever is weary in the wilderness to drink.”

An end is coming; the end has come! It has awakened against you; behold, it has come!

Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, there were four horns.So I said to the angel who was speaking with me,“ What are these?” And he said to me,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.And I said,“ What are these coming to do?” And he said,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah so that no one lifts up his head; but these craftsmen have come to frighten them, to throw down the horns of the nations who have lifted up their horns against the land of Judah in order to scatter it.”

And He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Israel are committing here, so that I would be far from My sanctuary? But yet you will see still greater abominations!”

And He said to me,“ Do you see this, son of man? Is it a trivial thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they have committed here, that they have filled the land with violence and provoked Me to anger repeatedly? Yet behold, they are putting the twig to their nose!

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ I will put an end to this proverb so that they will no longer use it as a proverb in Israel.” But tell them,“ The days are approaching as well as the fulfillment of every vision.

Then the angel who had been speaking with me went out and said to me,“ Now raise your eyes and see what this is that is going forth.”And I said,“ What is it?” Then he said,“ This is the ephah going forth.” Again he said,“ This is their appearance in all the land.

‘ Therefore the Lord God says this:“ Behold, I am going to bring upon you a sword, and I will cut off from you human and animal life.
