凡指撒瑪利亞之罪而誓者曰、但乎、我指爾維生之神而誓、或曰、我指別是巴之生途而誓、其人必顚覆、永不復興、

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria— who say,‘ As surely as your god lives, Dan,’ or,‘ As surely as the god of Beersheba lives’— they will fall, never to rise again.”

Some people make promises in the name of Samaria’s god. That god has led them astray. Others say,‘ People of Dan, you can be sure that your god is alive.’ Still others say,‘ You can be sure that Beersheba’s god is alive.’ But all these people will fall dead. They will never get up again.”

Those who swear by the Guilt of Samaria, and say,‘ As your god lives, O Dan,’ and,‘ As the Way of Beersheba lives,’ they shall fall, and never rise again.”

And those who swear by the shameful idols of Samaria— who take oaths in the name of the god of Dan and make vows in the name of the god of Beersheba— they will all fall down, never to rise again.”

Those who swear by the guilt of Samaria and say,“ As your god lives, Dan,” or,“ As the way of Beer-sheba lives”— they will fall, never to rise again.

As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, And say,‘ As your god lives, Dan,’ And,‘ As the way of Beersheba lives,’ They will fall and not rise again.”

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, Who say,‘ As your god lives, O Dan!’ And,‘ As the way of Beersheba lives!’ They shall fall and never rise again.”

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, As thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, As the way of Beer- sheba liveth; they shall fall, and never rise up again.

These are the ones who now take oaths in the name of the sinful idol goddess of Samaria. They vow,‘ As surely as your god lives, O Dan,’ or‘ As surely as your beloved one lives, O Beer Sheba!’ But they will fall down and not get up again.”

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, and say,‘ As your god, Dan, lives;’ and,‘ As the way of Beersheba lives;’ they will fall, and never rise up again.”

勿尋伯特利、勿入吉甲、勿往別是巴、蓋吉甲必被虜掠、伯特利必為虛無、

爾之罪戾、即造犢像、我燬之以火、擣磨成塵、揚於自山而流之溪、

王既籌思、乃作金犢二、告民曰、爾曹上耶路撒冷甚難、以色列人歟、導爾出埃及之神即此、遂置一犢於伯特利、一犢於但、

求書達大馬色諸會堂、若遇從此道者、無論男女、則繫而解至耶路撒冷、

惟彼訕笑上帝之使、藐視其言、譏其先知、致耶和華之怒及於其民、無可救治、

今干罪愈甚、以銀鑄像、循其聰明造偶、悉為工匠所製、指之而言曰、任獻祭者與犢接吻、

爾當告之曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、爾其飲之而醉、至於哇吐、顚躓而不復起、因我使鋒刃入於爾中也、

以及凡在屋巔、崇拜天象者、並崇拜耶和華、指耶和華而誓、亦指瑪勒堪而誓者、

耶和華歟、錫嘏其財物、悅納其所為、洞穿其敵、及憾之者之腰、使不復起、○

維時、因斯道大有騷動、

願爇炭墮其上、願其投於火燄、陷於深坑、不復興起兮、

乃返而食餅飲水、於耶和華禁爾食餅飲水之所、故爾尸不得入爾列祖之墓、飲食既畢、老先知為所攜歸之先知備驢、既往、有獅在途、遇而殺之、尸仆於途、驢立其側、獅亦立其旁、有人過之、見尸仆於途、獅立於旁、則入老先知所居之邑以告、攜其離途而返之先知聞之、則曰、此上帝僕、違耶和華之言、故耶和華付之於獅、獅攫而殺之、如耶和華所諭、又謂其子曰、為我備驢、遂備之、既往、見尸仆於途、驢與獅立於旁、獅未食尸、亦不攫驢、先知取上帝僕之尸、置於驢、攜歸老先知之邑、哀悼而葬之、置尸於己塚、悼之曰、哀哉、我兄弟乎、葬畢、則謂其子曰、我死、當葬我於上帝僕所葬之墓、以我骨置其骨側、蓋彼奉耶和華命、指伯特利壇、及撒瑪利亞諸邑崇邱之廟、所言必應、○耶羅波安雖遇此事、仍不悛其惡行、復由眾民中、簡立崇邱之祭司、凡欲之者、則區別之、使為崇邱祭司、是事陷耶羅波安家於罪、以致滅絕於地上、

緣耶羅波安所犯之罪、使以色列人陷之、耶和華必棄以色列族、

又設節期於八月之望、若猶大之節期、而登其壇、在伯特利亦如是、獻祭於所作之犢、以所立為邱壇之祭司、置於伯特利、

作惡者仆、既已顚蹶、不能復振兮、

以色列歟、爾雖行淫、猶大不可干罪、勿至吉甲、勿往伯亞文、勿指維生之耶和華而誓、

撒瑪利亞歟、爾犢見棄、我向斯民震怒、彼至何時、方得無罪、斯犢出於以色列、工匠所造、非上帝也、撒瑪利亞之犢、必見破碎、

撒瑪利亞悖逆其上帝、必負厥咎、仆於鋒刃、嬰孩被碎、孕婦被刳、

以色列處女顚仆、不得復振、被擲於其地、無人起之、

曰、巴比倫因耶和華所降之災、必如是沈淪、不得復起、其力憊矣、耶利米之言、至是而止、

惟不離棄尼八子耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、即在伯特利與但之金犢、

其人博學、諳於諸經、嘗受訓於主道、且銳志以耶穌之事、詳言誨人、惟知約翰之洗而已、

撒瑪利亞居民、將因伯亞文之犢而驚惶、庶民為之悲哀、素悅斯犢之祭司戰慄、以其榮去之也、

屢受斥責、仍復強項、敗亡必速、無術可治、

然有剛愎弗順者數人、當眾前詆誹此道、故保羅去之、亦令門徒離之、日在推喇奴之學塾辯論、

惟此一事、我於爾承之、即彼所謂旁門之道、我依之、奉事我列祖之上帝、悉信合於律法、及先知書所載者、

以銀二他連得與撒瑪、購撒瑪利亞山、建邑於山、以山主撒瑪之名、稱其邑曰撒瑪利亞、

使車馬軍旅勇士咸集、而傾覆之、不能復起、悉皆見滅、如熄餘燼、
