那偷进人家、牢笼无知妇女的，正是这等人。这些妇女担负罪恶，被各样的私欲引诱，常常学习，终久不能明白真道。

这是怎么样呢？以色列人所求的，他们没有得着。惟有蒙拣选的人得着了；其余的就成了顽梗不化的。如经上所记：“神给他们昏迷的心，眼睛不能看见，耳朵不能听见，直到今日。”大卫也说：“愿他们的筵席变为网罗，变为机槛，变为绊脚石，作他们的报应。愿他们的眼睛昏蒙，不得看见；愿你时常弯下他们的腰。”

但以色列人追求律法的义，反得不着律法的义。这是什么缘故呢？是因为他们不凭着信心求，只凭着行为求；他们正跌在那绊脚石上。就如经上所记：“我在锡安放一块绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石；信靠他的人必不至于羞愧。”

亵慢人寻智慧，却寻不着；聪明人易得知识。

不与我相合的，就是敌我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。”

那时，耶稣说：“父啊，天地的主，我感谢你！因为你将这些事向聪明通达人就藏起来，向婴孩就显出来。父啊，是的，因为你的美意本是如此。一切所有的，都是我父交付我的；除了父，没有人知道子；除了子和子所愿意指示的，没有人知道父。

但以理啊，你要隐藏这话，封闭这书，直到末时。必有多人来往奔跑，知识就必增长。”

你们奉上供物使你们儿子经火的时候，仍将一切偶像玷污自己，直到今日吗？以色列家啊，我岂被你们求问吗？主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不被你们求问。
