耶和华对我说：“阿摩司啊，你看见什么？”我说：“看见准绳。”主说：“我要吊起准绳在我民以色列中，我必不再宽恕他们。

And the Lord asked me,“ What do you see, Amos?”“ A plumb line,” I replied. Then the Lord said,“ Look, I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.

And the Lord said to me,“ Amos, what do you see?” And I said,“ A plumb line.” Then the Lord said,“ Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel; I will never again pass by them;

And the Lord said to me,“ Amos, what do you see?” I answered,“ A plumb line.” And the Lord replied,“ I will test my people with this plumb line. I will no longer ignore all their sins.

The LORD asked me,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A plumb line.” Then the Lord said,“ I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will no longer spare them:

And the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Amos?” And I said,“ A plumb line.” Then the Lord said,“ Behold I am about to put a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel. I will not spare them any longer.

And the Lord said to me,“ Amos, what do you see?” And I said,“ A plumb line.” Then the Lord said:“ Behold, I am setting a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel; I will not pass by them anymore.

And Jehovah said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumb- line. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumb- line in the midst of my people Israel; I will not again pass by them any more;

Yahweh said to me,“ Amos, what do you see?” I said,“ A plumb line.” Then the Lord said,“ Behold, I will set a plumb line in the middle of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

主曰、亞摩斯、爾觀何物、我曰、一筐盛以熟果、主曰、我民以色列族之罪孽成熟、末期已屆、我不復寛宥之、

主曾定厥志、欲毀郇邑邑原文作女之城垣、已畫準繩、盡毀不惜、盡毀不惜原文作不禁手於毀使郭與城傾圮偕亡、傾圮偕亡原文作同憂同慘

惟爾人子、主天主指指或作論以色列地如是云、末期已至、斯地四境之末期已臨、今末期臨於爾、我必震怒、降災於爾身、視爾行為審鞫爾、循爾諸可憎之事施報爾、我目不顧惜爾、我不加矜憫、必視爾行為、及爾中一切可憎之事、施報於爾、爾則知我乃主、○主天主如是云、有災禍、即一大災禍至矣、末期將至、末時將臨、災禍伏而伺爾、必迅速以至、居斯地之民歟、所命之災已及爾、其時已屆、荒亂荒亂或作驚惶之日伊邇、山上無復歡呼、我速震忿、降災於爾、原文作我速傾洩我之烈忿於爾盡發烈怒、加於爾身、視爾行為審鞫爾、循爾諸可憎之事施報爾、我目不顧惜、我不加矜憫、必視爾行為、及爾中一切可憎之事、施報於爾、使爾知責爾者、乃我耶和華也、

主曰、爾已棄我、背我而去、故我舉手擊爾、殲滅爾、難復矜恤、難復矜恤原文作我倦於矜恤

我以公平為繩、以善義為準、爾以誑詐為掩蔽之所、雹必除之、爾以虛偽為藏身之處、水必沖之、或作我以公平為準繩以善義為吊錘使雹擊除誑詐之蔽所使水沖沒虛偽之藏處

我將以量撒瑪利亞之繩、與權亞哈家之錘、施於耶路撒冷、或作昔我滅撒瑪利亞及亞哈家必循此準繩以滅耶路撒冷必拭去耶路撒冷、如人拭盂即覆之、

主將使洪水氾濫、淹沒其處、其處即尼尼微凡敵主者、主必逐之於昏暗、凡敵主者主必逐之於昏暗或作禍患猶如昏黑必緊隨叛逆主之人爾能設何謀以攻主、主一罰爾、使爾盡滅、毋庸再有有原文作起災難、主一罰爾使爾盡滅毋庸再有災難或作主必滅爾殆盡不再有災難
