蝗蟲吃盡那地的青物，我就說：「主耶和華啊，求你赦免；因為雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？」

當蝗蟲幾乎將要喫盡了那地底青物時，我就說：『主永恆主啊，請赦免哦！雅各怎能站立得住呢？他是這麼微小啊。』

蝗蟲食盡境內之草、我曰、主耶和華歟、求爾赦宥、雅各微小、何能卓立乎、

蝗嚙草既盡、我曰、主耶和華與、祈爾寛宥、雅各衰微、能久存乎。

蝗既食盡國中之草、我曰、求主天主赦宥、雅各已衰微、焉能得立、

When they had stripped the land clean, I cried out,“ Sovereign Lord, forgive! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!”

The locusts stripped the land clean. Then I cried out,“ Lord and King, forgive Israel! How can Jacob’s people continue? They are such a weak nation!”

When they had finished eating the grass of the land, I said,“ O Lord God, please forgive! How can Jacob stand? He is so small!”

In my vision the locusts ate every green plant in sight. Then I said,“ O Sovereign Lord, please forgive us or we will not survive, for Israel is so small.”

When the locusts finished eating the vegetation of the land, I said,“ Lord GOD, please forgive! How will Jacob survive since he is so small?”

And it came about, when it had finished eating the vegetation of the land, that I said,“ Lord God, please pardon! How can Jacob stand? For he is small.”

And so it was, when they had finished eating the grass of the land, that I said:“ O Lord GOD, forgive, I pray! Oh, that Jacob may stand, For he is small!”

And it came to pass that, when they made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord Jehovah, forgive, I beseech thee: how shall Jacob stand? for he is small.

When the locusts finished eating the vegetation of the land, I said,“ Lord God, please forgive! How will Jacob survive since he is so small?”

And it came to pass,[ that] when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he[ is] small.

When they had completely consumed the earth’s vegetation, I said,“ Sovereign LORD, forgive Israel! How can Jacob survive? He is too weak!”

When they finished eating the grass of the land, then I said,“ Lord Yahweh, forgive, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”

Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?” (niv)

It may be that the Lord your God will hear the words of the field commander, whom his master, the king of Assyria, has sent to ridicule the living God, and that he will rebuke him for the words the Lord your God has heard. Therefore pray for the remnant that still survives.” (niv)

Although our sins testify against us, do something, Lord, for the sake of your name. For we have often rebelled; we have sinned against you. (niv)

While they were killing and I was left alone, I fell facedown, crying out,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?” (niv)

We acknowledge our wickedness, Lord, and the guilt of our ancestors; we have indeed sinned against you.For the sake of your name do not despise us; do not dishonor your glorious throne. Remember your covenant with us and do not break it. (niv)

They covered all the ground until it was black. They devoured all that was left after the hail— everything growing in the fields and the fruit on the trees. Nothing green remained on tree or plant in all the land of Egypt. (niv)

Jeremiah the prophet and said to him,“ Please hear our petition and pray to the Lord your God for this entire remnant. For as you now see, though we were once many, now only a few are left. (niv)

“ Lord,” he said,“ if I have found favor in your eyes, then let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff- necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.” (niv)

Then I cried out,“ Sovereign Lord, I beg you, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!” (niv)

“ Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared:‘ The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’In accordance with your great love, forgive the sin of these people, just as you have pardoned them from the time they left Egypt until now.” (niv)

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (niv)

Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. (niv)

“ Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?” (niv)

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. (niv)

These double calamities have come upon you— who can comfort you?— ruin and destruction, famine and sword— who can console you? (niv)

Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.” (niv)

But Moses sought the favor of the Lord his God.“ Lord,” he said,“ why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand?Why should the Egyptians say,‘ It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth’? Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people. (niv)

Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression?We are brought down to the dust; our bodies cling to the ground.Rise up and help us; rescue us because of your unfailing love. (niv)
